Our Bowie child care program is conveniently located just off Old Annapolis Road, with easy access to Collington Road (MD 197), Annapolis Road (MD 450), John Hanson Highway (US 50), and Enterprise Road (MD 193). We are also just a few minutes from Tulip Grove Elementary School, making our location convenient for families who live or work in the Bowie area.

Our curriculum emphasizes learning through play, with fun, engaging, and educational activities that help children develop the skills they need for school and lifelong success. We are open year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We offer full-time and part-time child care for infants as young as 6 months through preschoolers up to 5 years old. Our program also provides nutritious meals and snacks at no additional cost, and our children are cared for by qualified, experienced, and compassionate staff.
For the safety of children with allergies, we maintain a peanut-free and tree nut-free environment. Every child is unique, and we are committed to addressing individual needs with patience, understanding, and compassion.

Hello, parents! 🤗 I am the founder and main caregiver at Collington Kids Playhouse, Bowie. For more than 13 years, I have had the privilege of caring for young children and helping them reach important developmental milestones. As a CPR and First Aid certified provider with a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, as well as a parent myself, I am committed to creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and at home.
My mission is to nurture and educate children through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences and fun, engaging activities that support their emotional, physical, mental, social, and academic development. I believe in guiding children with patience, kindness, and strong values while encouraging them to make godly choices and develop confidence in themselves.

At Collington Kids Playhouse, Bowie, we believe every child deserves a learning experience that is both meaningful and enjoyable. Our curriculum combines play-based learning, cognitive-based education, and Montessori-inspired methods to encourage children to explore, ask questions, and develop a genuine love of learning. In our nurturing and engaging environment, children build important life skills while receiving support across every area of development.
From infancy through the preschool years, our activities grow alongside each child’s developmental needs. Infants benefit from nurturing interactions, sensory experiences, music, communication activities, simple sign language, and opportunities to strengthen fine- and gross-motor skills.
Toddlers and preschoolers participate in hands-on learning experiences that support language development, early literacy and math skills, critical thinking, and confidence. Children explore age-appropriate concepts such as letters, numbers, colors, shapes, sizes, and pre-writing skills while learning through active participation and play.
We also use computers, iPads, and tablets as supplemental educational resources. Technology is limited to carefully selected, age-appropriate learning activities and is always used with staff guidance and supervision to provide a safe and purposeful experience.
