I have been a part of the Lifetime Family for almost 10 years. Yes even though my 3 children are school age now, we are still family. Lifetime provided me and my children with all the perks of a daycare, the exposure and practice of a school and all the comforts of home.
The infant care was phenomenal. As a working mom, you are looking for a smooth and easy process, when it comes to childcare. My babies came home clean, freshly bathed in their pajamas, hair combed, and were ready to spend quality time with mommy and daddy prior to dinner and bed. I did not have to drag bags and supplies everyday. Lifetime took care of ALL of that for me. I simply dropped my babies and picked them up. When it was time for them to have table food, Lifetime ensured they had a good variety of fresh foods.
In the toddler years, my children received a curriculum better than that of the well known childcare center chains. My children left Lifetime, tying their shoes, writing their names, spelling, reading and doing math. One skipped a grade, another tested in for early entrance to Kindergarten and all of them remain on the Principal's Honor Roll and in the Talented and Gifted Programs at their school. As they got older, the meals advanced accordingly. Lifetime provided my children with home cooked meals for breakfast, lunch and snack, to include exposure to all fruits and vegetables, with lots of water in their diet. I believe these habits instilled at a young age, help children to not be such picky eaters. As mine have grown, I am proud that their anticipation of a home cooked meal has lessened their desire for junk food.
At one point Lifetime offered Before/After Care services. Though they no longer do so, I just wanted to highlight the continuity and the fact that my children still desired to return to Lifetime, even after leaving for school. It was the continuation of that which was familiar to them, the comfort and love that they were so used to getting.
We started off with only a business relationship. That immediately developed into a partnership which quickly turned into a friendship. Though all three levels existed, the lines of each never crossed. We understood what was required of us and Lifetime understood what was desired of them. When families and providers operate in sync and on one accord, your child benefits the most. So if I haven't made it glaringly clear, I highly recommend Lifetime of Adventure Family Daycare for your childcare services. The experience that you and your children will have is one like no other. When your 11 year old still desires to just "stop by Ms. Denise's house", that says and means a lot. Aside from saving for college, I believe that childcare is the second most expensive investment you will make for your children. So when you are comparing please ensure you consider everything. You truly get what you pay for and I would not have changed my experiences at Lifetime, for any place else.
