We love Hebron Montessori! Our daughter has been attending for two years and has learned and matured so much thanks to its amazing and dedicated teachers. She started in the Red Room (toddler room) with Ms. Amina who gave her love and patience, and then transitioned to the Green Room with Ms. Doris who keeps her academically challenged and has helped her mature and become more independent. Ms. Nancy, the Director, is so great with the kids and always greets them with a big smile and a hug. As a parent, I feel confident and at ease that my kid is loved and well taken care of. She always comes home with a big smile on her face, sharing all of the cool things she learned and how much fun she had with her friends. If you’re looking for a daycare with diversity, little to no turnover with its primary teachers, small with a homey feel, and will work to develop your child, then Hebron Montessori is the place. Thank you, Ms. Amina, Doris, Bindhu, Mariela, Nancy, and Shazia, for taking great care of our little girl!

I absolutely love Hebron Montessori. My twins started here after a bad experience at a school that was shut down. One of my twins was potty trained at 2 years which is amazing! The teachers are very good at following the child’s lead while also challenging them. My other son wasn’t fully potty trained until 3 years old, which is just how his body developed. We had to leave HMS during COVID because I was working from home and couldn’t do the 30 minutes commute 4 times a day. They went to 2 different Montessori schools during that time and my kids were so different. They didn’t enjoy going to school and cried at drop off (this NEVER happens at HMS). At one school, I was getting daily calls from the Director complaining about one of my sons and eventually she kicked him out of the school. That was honestly the best thing she could have done because I put them back in HMS and it’s like night and day. My son, who the other director said probably has ADHD and needs therapy, is now thriving. He’s talking more at home and really expressing himself. He does work at school and has friends. He seems like a whole new kid now that he is getting the support he needs at school. Also, they have an AMAZING outside area with a chicken coup (the kids get to pick eggs), large garden area (that the kids maintain), 2 playgrounds and artificial grass. One of my sons has awful allergies, and Ms Nancy gives him the meds he needs and will call to make sure he can play outside on particularly bad days. I know that the teachers there love my kids. They are so kind! When we leave, the boys often run back to give hugs to Nancy, Sherri and Ashley. This is a great place with experienced Montessori teachers who really understand the model and have proper expectations of children. You won’t regret sending your kids here!

I removed my son from here. After 6 months in their care, my son made no verbal progress. The communication between teacher and parent is non existent as well unless you find it important to know if your child ate and napped that day. After 6 months and 4 requests I finally was able to have a parent teacher conference. I learned my child did not interact with other children, did not participate in circle time and was left to do what he wanted during that time. My child also was making no attempt of speech at school at 2.5 years of age. I have had my child in speech therapy and had been requesting meetings with staff to discuss interventions so those could remain consistent at school. When I asked at what point they would find him not speaking significant enough to report to a parent I was literally told by the director that “we are a certified Montessori not speech therapists”. They are required by the state to have competency in child development and they failed at multiple levels to communicate this to a parent even as the parent requested meetings for 3 months. The staff here I encountered (except Sherri and Ashley) especially the director, Nancy, is completely incompetent.
