Our Music Infused Preschool Program
Every day we have circle time, writing exercise, mathematics, science, art, and music. The children in our center have music time at the end of every day, created by our incredibly talented list of local supporting musicians. Every day, during music time, our students sing, shake and shimmy to original songs written specifically to coincide with the material current in their curriculum, as well as instrumental basics, live performances, movement exercises and much more.
Our staff is compiled of loving and experienced teachers along with a growing list of incredibly talented and energetic performers. We don’t want children to just “go to our school” we want them to “experience our school”. Every single thing about us will provide an experience for your child like nothing else available.
Our activity areas are imaginative, educational and loaded with fun. Your child won’t just sit in the same room all day… they will travel through the hallways with their teachers to the activity areas for story time, recess, movement exercises, imaginative play and music times.
Our hallways are magical. Our activity rooms are inspiring. Our curriculum is incredible. And our music program is rockin’.

Facts About Drool of Rock
We are open Monday to Friday from 7am-6pm
We are a 6,000 sf building with a 2,500 sf outdoor play area.
We will provide morning and afternoon snacks, milk and water. Children are required to bring a lunch daily.
Every classroom is staffed with at least two teachers at all times. Our teachers are MSDE approved, CPR Certified and First Aid Trained. Our staff participates in the continuing education program and participates and completes all required credits per calendar year.
Our children participate in music classes daily at 4:00pm. Throughout the year they will study rhythm, world music, various areas of dance, theater, instrumental basics, chorus and much more.
At Drool of Rock, we pride ourselves on our kindergarten readiness program, soaring levels o creativity, originality, energy and our incredibly rockin’ atmosphere.

Drool of Rock combines a nurturing and safe environment, dedicated staff who genuinely care about the kids, engaging activities that promote social development and learning, clear communication with the parents, and a sense of community. Our experience embodies all these qualities. Both of our kids left Drool knowing how to read at age 5. They received a well-rounded and supportive education there. If I could give Drool of Rock 10 stars I would. This is our third daycare for our older son and I FINALLY feel like we have hit the jackpot. Both of my boys are thriving there. Every single teacher has a smile on their face when I see them and genuinely loves each and every one of the kids there. For me, the fact that neither of my boys cries or fusses when I drop them off in the morning and their smiles when I pick them up speaks volumes. It shows how comfortable and happy they are there. Previous day cares have left me with a pit in my stomach when I dropped my boys off. I have NEVER felt that way with Drool. It is so important that our babies are learning but it is also so important that they play and are loved - the teachers at all Drool provide all of this and more.

We love being a part of the Drool of Rock family and couldn’t be happier with our choice! Our girls are learning something new everyday. The curriculum is fun and creative but it is also structured. The teachers love our girls and they love them. We would recommend this school to everyone we know!

Our daughter has been at DOR since the infant program opened and she was just under 5 months old. As an infant the incredible staff provided the love and attention that she needed, while assuring that as new parents we were comfortable with the care she was getting. She is now a thriving toddler, and thanks to the team at DOR, she is growing into an amazing little human. She truly looks forward to her days at DOR and always comes home with new skills and a smile on her face! The staff is truly committed to the continued development of the children, while providing them with a nurturing environment in a bright and cheerful space. I am incredibly thankful that we found DOR and recommend the center routinely and often!!!

Currently I have 2 children actively enrolled at Drool of Rock. At one point, I had all 3 of my little ones enrolled. My 5 year old has since graduated and goes to kindergarten now, and every day she has off of school she (literally) begs me to go back! She learned so much at Drool of Rock, now kindergarten is “too easy” for her (her words!). The teacher and I are constantly discussing how to challenge her on new levels. It says so much about Drool of Rock. My 4 year old and my 3 year old love going to “school”. I have to basically drag them out of there when it’s pick up time! They truly love every single one the teachers and the teacher’s aids. This just confirms what I already know and see everyday and in everything that they do; that all of these very special teachers love our kids too. These strong, loving, amazing teachers are what makes this place different from any other. I just can’t express how much our family loves this preschool. I adore the owner. And I am so grateful for this amazing place. My kids will never forget all the friendships and all the cool experiences that they received from their preschool. Neither will I!
And the comment made about how they send kids home sick when they’re not sick... untrue. Not sure what happened in his situation. But we’ve been with Drool of Rock for over 3 years. And maybe once in those 3 years, a teacher sent one of my kids home and by the time we got home they felt better. But never did I doubt that she was actually not feeling well enough to be at school. I trust these teachers with my children’s lives, otherwise they wouldn’t be there!! Actually, a few of them have become our go-to babysitters!! Can’t say enough. I can’t imagine anyone not loving it here. Definitely recommend 100%!

I switched to this daycare a year ago as my 4 yr old son was having issues with a very strict program and since transitioning both my son and 2yr old daughter I have seen tremendous changes and growth in both. The owner, Jenn is amazing and very hands on and responsive and the teachers I cannot even begin to express my gratitude in how wonderful they are with my children. They work with them to develop the skills sets they will need going into school but do so in an engaging understanding way. They know all the words to so many songs, they do special programs almost daily (i.e. yoga, dance, theatre) and get the kids outside to play almost every day barring exceptionally bad weather. They also do an exceptional job of keeping us informed of their daily activities and anything else of note that happened during the day. Highly recommend, take a tour and see for yourself!

They make it seem like your kid is sick when they are not, just to send them home. Numerous times I’ve overheard the staff say they are understaffed. I have even heard several times that staff is being left with more than the ratio of kids. I have seen frustrated and flustered staff because of this. I am angered by this because my kid is not getting the correct attention that I PAY FOR. The price per week and your teachers are not even certified to work there. No CPR training for each staff member. Some of the staff seems to be on drugs, glazed eyes, sniffling and fat swollen hands are a dead giveaway. I have been informed that no drug test was required to be employed there. Leads me to believe that perhaps even the owner may be on drugs. I have seen a glazed overlook on her eyes the rare time I have seen her. Would not put it past her, she seems like the type. The staff does not clean well, viruses are being passed back and forth for between the kids and teachers. Some of the staff have even gotten the kids sick. I have witnessed staff saying that their coworkers are sick but they needed the money so they came to work anyway. Disgusting! So if you’re wondering why your kid is always sick and snotty then now you know why. I have heard some of the music this school plays for the children and it is not appropriate. The staff is always on their phones, “changing music.” Some staff never smile or say hello. I have heard children being yelled at for doing whatever kids do. My kid came home bruised up one day from “just playing” at recess. Owner is never anywhere to be found. This facility needs an honest childcare specialist to come in and shut it down. That, or new ownership. Also, for a so-called “music school,” this place does not even teach the kids music. Lied during the tour and claimed that it’s coming soon due to opening up the baby center. Their website says one thing but when your kid goes there it’s completely different.
