Active Learning Center is a great place for children who are self-driven and thrive in hands-on environments. The curriculum is child-led and kids typically get to "get their hands dirty" while exploring new subjects. My daughter attended for two years and developed nicely under their guidance. My only gripe would be that the founders are getting older and seem to be a little burnt out. Also, they are inconsistent with their age limits, admitting younger children when its convenient to hit their enrollment targets, potentially disregarding waitlisted children.
