Both my kids got hurt at Nori on different days under different circumstances. The way the school handled the events, and their explanations indicated a lack of awareness or care.
For example, my son had to go to the hospital because according to June, "he fell off the bed". I was not notified of this injury until I came to pick him up at the end of the day.
I contacted Susan and told her that I am pulling both my kids out from the program immediately.
They were contractually required to refund unused tuition, they refused. I reported Nori to the VA Dept of Education for my sons injury. An investigation was conducted by the DOE Inspector and the school was given their 4th violation for just the year of 2022. 4 violations in a year is not common.
The school also refused to refund our remaining tuition, which led us taking Nori to Small Claims Court.
Luckily, we found a much better Korean school with a better facility, better staff, and much cheaper. I highly recommend anyone reading this to shop around. As I said before, getting my kids OUT from this place was a blessing, I wish June and her accomplice Susan all the best in their thieving.
