I am a licensed and experienced daycare provider with over 5 years of experience in child care training and 10 years of teaching experience in Fairfax & Montgomery County. Tender Love Children's Place in Gaithersburg is a home-based program, located near Montgomery Village Ave & Midcounty Hwy (route 124). I run a spacious, clean and affordable home daycare in a single-family home. Continuous attention to your child will always be my first and foremost priority. Go to work with a peace of mind knowing that your children are well-cared for in a nice clean, caring, and loving environment. We offer healthy meals and snacks, and I would be happy to give you references. All meals are vegetarian and in line with the Maryland food program guidelines. The parents are welcome to bring their own non-vegetarian meals, but they must be egg and nut free. - Plenty of Parking space - 3 miles from the Shady Grove Metro Station - 1 mile from I 270 and Rte 355 in Gaithersburg - No TV watching - Lunch & snacks provided Tender Love Children's Place is proud to participate in a government-funded PreK program, providing high-quality early childhood education and support in a home-based setting for children ages 2–4 from families who may not be able to afford childcare. Eligible families will receive guidance and assistance throughout the entire application process. I am passionate about providing your child with the tools they need to be independent and creative in all aspects of their lives. I take extra care and effort to make sure that your child is exposed to the safest and most stimulating environment each day. I ensure that your child is ready for kindergarten and beyond, through activities that help them learn language, math, science, dexterity, expression, imagination and social skills. I can’t say enough amazing things about this provider. my son attended when he was 8 weeks old until he turned 3 and now my 1 year old daughter attends. They treat these kids like their own. My son who is almost 5 still wants to go visit! She gives daily updates and pictures which is nice.They truly ensure a place where kids feel safe and loved while meeting their academic, social, emotional and behavioral needs. I have been extremely happy with the provider!

I am so grateful for everyone here and feel happy every day knowing my child is in safe hands. As a first-time mom, I was incredibly picky and worried about finding the right place for my child. It was important to me that he would be safe and well-cared for. The team here has been warm and nurturing, putting all my anxieties to rest. Without them, I don’t know if I would have been ready for him to be in daycare. Their communication has been above and beyond, always keeping me informed about how he is doing. I just love everyone involved in his care! We thank you for all you do ❤

She is a true blessing in our lives. She is been taking care of our daughter since when she was 6 months old. She is not only fully trained to lead a daycare, but she is also an amazing human being. She is caring and supportive of our whole family and what she offers to us goes a lot beyond daycare services. She became family! We are grateful and will never be able to thank her enough for everything she does to all of us!

We really like the fact that they pay individual attention to every single kid and take good care of them like their own. The initial days of starting daycare were a little difficult for both myself and Reyaan but the caregiver made it super easy and comfortable for us.

They have a great daycare for my son. They are very hard working, patient, and comforting towards kids. They keep children engaged throughout the day with lots of fun and learning activities. We regularly receive updates via pictures and get prompt response if we have any questions or comments. It’s a very safe and hygienic environment for the little ones where they get to make good friends as well. My son has been loving the place and comes with great mood. I highly recommend this daycare if you are looking for a homely and attentive place for your precious one.

This home daycare was an excellent experience for my son. He started at 11 months and continued through 25 months. He was always happy to see the caregiver and her family, and he learned letters and numbers well ahead of schedule. He also developed a taste for vegetarian Indian food, because she home-cooked most of the food served at mealtimes. 🙂

My daughter has been going to this daycare for 15M now and we could not be happier with our experience so far. Aside from a clean safe space what was most important to me was my connected with the provider as raising an infant into a toddler is a team effort and she has been there every step of the way. When I interviewed her while pregnant I informed her there was a chance my child could have a hearing loss and she did not hesitate, she was confident that she would be able to work through what ever challenges could face us and she was right. She treats her just like any other kid there but also ensure that her listen equipment is taken care of. My son did not go to her as we moved to the area when he aged out but even he enjoys her the few times he gets to see her and she always asks and likes to know what he is up to. I recommend her and her team.

Ms. S is a loving and skilled teacher and caretaker. My 1 year old loves going there and playing with her friends. She waves me off after I drop her off. There is the right mix of free play and learning there. She teaches the kids through targeted activities that seem like play to them. The kids also learn how to treat each other well. It is an extended family. One of my children had special needs while in her care, and Ms. S handled it with compassion and grace. We were partners in her care. Even during the times that my child was too sick to attend school, Ms. S kept in contact with us and the child. It is clear that she loves the children. When I became pregnant with my third child, there was absolutely no question where she would go. Her backyard is not as large as other places, but it is filled with fun things for the kids. The indoor space is bright and sunny.

Our son joined the close family at this facility when he had just turned 1 year old. He has been there for almost 2 years and we absolutely LOVE his child care provider. She is warm, caring, creative, energetic, thoughtful and extremely gifted. She knows how to stimulate and engage kids of all ages. She observes the strengths and areas of growth in our son and does a great job in communicating with us on a daily and weekly basis. Our son enjoys the many different toys, tools and learning stations that she has in her daycare. Our son has a love for reading and learning and a big part of that is due to this provdier's nurturing and training. I was amazed that around his 2nd birthday, he had learned to count up to 20, knew his colors and many shapes. The kids have FUN at this provider's place and she fosters a warm, loving, nurturing and stimulating environment. I highly recommend her to any parent.

This provider is great at communication with the parents! She loves every kid like they are her own. I had my first born going to daycare and I was so scared but she sent me updates and photos during the day bc I said I needed it. She truly is the best!

Emma has been with this provider since she was 5 months old and has taken such good care of her. Emma was always waiting to go and she really enjoyed it ! This daycare was an absolute godsend. My usual nanny had to go away on emergency leave and I searched for last minute care for my boys on a drop in basis. I was very worried that I would not find someone that I could trust and that would take care of my boys as good as I would have hoped. One of my boys has special needs and I am particularly leary of the people that I let watch him. This provider called and emailed me numerous times before and during their stay with her to ensure that she was taking care of the needs of both my boys. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease when I had to go to work. When I came to pick them up, my youngest did not even want to leave this provider's side--he had just met her that day. I am so glad to have found this childcare center.

Anwitha (anwi) started with this provider when she was 6 months old and continued there until she was 2 1/2 years old. This provider is awesome in taking care of kids. very caring , affectionate and being patient. I am planning to send my 2nd baby next year (expecting in nov) as well if she have an opening. This daycare has been awesome since Day 1. Our son has grown in all aspects, especially his sense of imagination and leadership. This provider and her team care about all the kids and it shows with the smile on his face each day (and the fact that he sometimes doesn't want to leave!) This daycare is run better than many centers (much less in-home facilities) that we saw during our search and the work he brings home is more advanced than some of his friend's in other day cares. We love the added benefit of a nice green space and the close proximity to parks and playgrounds that allows the kids to venture out on field trips in the nicer weather. We prefer that to having the kids cooped up all day inside. I would recommend it to anybody!
