Welcome to Kingsview Ridge Playhouse, our licensed in-home daycare and preschool in Germantown, MD.
About Us:
I’m the owner and main caregiver of this loving and nurturing family child care program. I’m a professional caregiver with a Child Development Associate's Degree and CPR & First-aid certifications, as well as MAT trained (I’m able to administer medication, if needed). I run my daycare with my assistant and we have 62 years of combined experience in child care and early education!
We’re both parents and we know it’s not easy for you, especially for first-time parents, to leave your child in someone else’s care. However, you can feel comfortable knowing that your little one is safe with us at all times. We pride ourselves in providing a secure, fun-filled, and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow, and be able to express themselves.
Program:
Our home-based daycare and preschool is open throughout the year from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Mondays to Fridays. We follow the play-based learning approach, which allows kids to learn best through play. We have activity sets specifically designed for infants and toddlers, along with a variety of puzzles, blocks, and books to stimulate their development.
For infants, we practice tummy time, read them books, and use activity sets that introduce them to farm animals, weather patterns, and more. We also teach numbers, shapes, colors, good manners, and how to respect others, preparing them for school. In addition to English, we can also teach your child Urdu (our daycare is not a bilingual program though).
We can provide full-time for infants as young as 6 weeks, as well toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. Our daycare also accepts school-age children and we offer before and after school care (we’re just 5 minutes’ drive away from Ronald McNair Elementary School and Germantown Elementary School). Peanut and tree-nut free lunch and snacks are provided to all kids attending full-time and these meals are already included in the tuition.
Facility::
Our facility is equipped with bright carpets, spacious playrooms filled with plenty of toys, and a dedicated circle time center. Outside, there's a safe play area where children can enjoy fresh air and outdoor activities. Peanut and tree-nut-free lunch and snacks are provided to all kids attending full-time, and these meals are already included in the tuition.
To ensure the health and safety of all our children, we follow strict COVID-19 procedures. All toys are cleaned in a tub with a bleach solution at the end of each day. Children are encouraged to wash their hands frequently, and if a child feels unwell, we check their temperature to ensure they are not running a fever.

Kingsview Ridge Playhouse is nestled in the Kingsview Ridge neighborhood in Germantown, MD. Our home is right off Father Hurley Blvd and has easy access to Clopper Rd (route 117), Germantown Rd (route 118), Great Seneca Hwy (route 119), and Middlebrook Rd. Perfect for your daily commute to work :)
