Madame Curie Preschool provides care for children from 18 months to 5 years old. We operate year-round, Monday through Friday, and offer flexible program options designed to meet the needs of busy families.
Our programs include:
✨ Full-Day – 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
✨ Half-Day – 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
✨ Summer Camp Program (Mid-June to Mid-August for children up to 8 years old)
During the summer, children enjoy themed weekly activities, STEAM projects, outdoor play, creative arts, and engaging learning experiences that keep them active and curious.
Tuition includes daily meals prepared in a tree-nut- and peanut-free environment. Madame Curie Preschool proudly participates in the Virginia Child Care Subsidy Program, allowing eligible families to apply voucher subsidy benefits toward tuition costs.

Madame Curie Preschool follows a STEAM+ curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics supported by Language Arts, Motor Skills, and Social-Emotional Development). With dedicated classrooms for each stage of early education, an indoor gym, and a fenced outdoor play area, children learn and grow through a thoughtfully designed progression that builds character, confidence, and leadership skills.
Our early childhood program begins in the Toddler Classroom (18 months to 2 years), where children are gently introduced to structured learning in a warm and secure environment. Teachers focus on language development, social interaction, and classroom routines through activities such as yoga, dance, arts and crafts, and guided play. During this stage, children also begin learning important values such as kindness, sharing, and respect.
As children progress through Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten, learning becomes more structured while maintaining a supportive classroom atmosphere. Students develop foundational academic skills including early reading and writing readiness, number sense, problem solving, and independent work habits.
Through small-group instruction and engaging activities, children grow in confidence, responsibility, and leadership, preparing them for success in elementary school.
