Kinder Smart Child Care, Lexington Park

The Kinder Smart Enrichment Program is a high quality program registered and licensed through the Maryland Department of Education System and the state of Maryland. Kinder Smart is organized and developed to provide a loving, safe, and educational environment for children. Our goal is to ensure an encouraging and stimulating, comfortable place for young children, which promotes social, emotional, physical, cognitive and educational growth. All of our team have had training above and beyond state requirements and hands-on experiences to make our program a positive place to be. We are educators trying to make a positive difference in your child's life while you are at work, and we know that we, as educators and you, as parents all have the same goal: to give your child the best beginning we can, by involving you in their educational program and encouraging as much family and home environment time as your jobs allow we can reach this goal together. We love the children and want them to have an excellent start to their life. Kinder Smart is also a Maryland EXCELS Level 3 program, which means you can breathe easy knowing your precious child is attending a quality daycare. We primarily speak English in our facility; however, we are open to new experiences and lessons in any and all cultures. We welcome diversity! We strive to be inclusive and provide a family type personal environment. All children will be included in all activities, whenever possible. All of our toys are designed to be developmentally appropriate for all of our children. -For our children under two years of age our selection of toys includes, but is not limited to: teethers, music boxes, books, stuffed animals, dolls, trucks, stacking toys, puzzles, etc. by using bins and cubbies. All of our toys are easily reached by everyone: crawlers to walkers! A baby's interest is always peaked by the fact that they can reach everything. Additionally, we break our play area into centers. If a child has a special ability, supplies and adults can be right on hand to help support and encourage an interest or skill.
