We are a play based school. We work on kindergarten skills in a fun, developmentally appropriate manner. Our language arts curriculum is Handwriting without Tears. We have a weekly science lesson and work on Journals with the older kids. We walk to the local library weekly with the older kids and the librarian visits the younger kids weekly. Once a month we have a kinder sports class at the local gym. Our head teacher has 30 years of experience in preschool and majored in Early Childhood Education at The University of Michigan.
