Children's Zone Home Daycare, Lorton

The owner and her staff has cared for our daughter since she was 3 months old and our daughter loves them! Her warm and nurturing demeanor will make you feel comfortable and reassured that you are leaving your child in great hands. The daycare space is clean, safe, and conducive to learning. Our daughter's excitement upon arriving is indescribable and when we pick her up in the afternoon, she is smiling and waving at the staff and her daycare friends. The staff are truly professionals and we are so glad they are our child's daycare provider and we look forward to enrolling our second child this year.

This daycare was the third daycare I had toured and I was almost ready to give up on finding a warm, safe and inviting place for my little one. As soon as we walked in for the tour I knew this caregiver was the right person. She was inviting, warm, provided us with all the information needed and answered all of our question. And as a new mom, she made me feel comfortable leaving my little one. My son looks forward to going there and I never have to worry about him. He has developed well and is encouraged to learn through doing the things he loves with other children, music, dance and social interactions. This provider and her staff truly love the children there as their own. I could not have asked for a better daycare!

As first time parents, it's hard to imagine leaving your child in someone else's care. We knew the daycare owner was the right person to take care of our daughter the moment we met her. Our daughter opened up to her right away and we got warm and fuzzies too. We felt comfortable knowing we could leave our precious little one in her care. Our daughter transitioned into daycare with ease and we attribute it to provider's exceptional care. Our daughter always comes home happy, with a clean diaper, and her belly full. We were blessed to find this daycare!

This daycare is just family. I had no idea how to pick a daycare for my newborn twins, Hailey and Connor. As soon as I met the provider, she put me at ease and I could tell she was a genuinely good person. Meeting her was all I needed to make my decision. Don't get me wrong, I was still scared about leaving my babies. Like most new moms, I did not want to go back to work and wanted my babies in the best possible hands. The first few days were tough, but whenever I went to pick up the kids, the women in the daycare were taking such good care of them. There were lots of hugs and smiles and all the things that a newborn needs. Plus there were three women there to help verses one of me! The babies thrived and continued to get big and healthy. One year later, I am still just as happy with this daycare. All of the women there are great with kids. It is truly like having a relative or neighbor watch your children verses an impersonal daycare with 60 other kids. Ms S limits the number of babies she accepts and always has different age children. So there will be friends around the same age as your children and some older children for them to learn from. My husband and I have been very lucky to find such a great place to care for our kids during this vital first year of life and we are looking forward to all they learn at daycare in the years to come.
