Rocky Branch Children's Den, Lorton

I found this daycare online and decided to visit the center in person. I absolutely fell in love with this place. I knew in my heart it was the right choice for my newborn daughter. Zuri loves the staff and enjoys her time at daycare. My daughter has attended this center since July 2023. If you are considering this place look no further. The staff is consistently loving, happy, professional and nice. I LOVE IT!

They are always taking care of my baby like their kids. Very clean and good quality lesson.

My husband and I are so appreciative of her child care services. Our son started with her in July 2022 after attending a different daycare the previous 4 to 5 months. We decided to make a switch to her daycare because we were unhappy with the services our child was receiving at his previous facility. We are so thankful we made the switch and our minds are completely at ease every morning we drop him off. She genuinely cares for our son and for the rest of the children. He is very happy at drop off and pick up, and is well taken care of. She is very attentive to the details and is perceptive of our child's needs. Her facility is extremely clean, age appropriate, spacious, and welcoming. She is patient, kind, and playful with our son and the other children. We highly recommend her services to any parent!

We have been taking our son to this caregiver for the past month. She has shown great effort with and affection towards our child and communicates with us in a timely manner. She provides a safe, comfortable, sizable, and clean environment for children. We recommend her services.

We are so thankful to have found this provider. Her daycare feels more like sending our boys to a family member who loves them than to a center. She takes great lengths to keep everything clean and sanitary and safe. Our son has a speech delay and she incorporates everything we are doing with his speech pathologist into his daily activities. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone.

This provider gives a loving, well thought out, very clean and safe environment. It is obvious that the provider really knows what she is doing - she is an effective communicator and well versed in educational and developmentally appropriate play. As a working mother, I feel at ease knowing my daughter is happy and well looked after. We are so grateful for this provider.

The provider and her team have been really fabulous since Covid began. One of the things that drew me to her daycare is that it is so clean and organized, so I had no doubt she could handle these unprecented circumstances. Staff are always wearing masks and the daycare is always clean. My daughter has not gotten sick once since Covid began and neither have we. I can tell the daycare is diligent about handwashing because my daughter's handwashing skills have improved exponentially! This daycare has the ideal set up for pick-up and drop-off because the provider has a pseudo-mudroom at the entrance, so it really minimizes contact. I would highly recommend her daycare to anyone feeling nervous but in need of good daycare.

This child care provider is great. We have nothing but good things to say. She communicates very well and lets us know how our son’s day is each day. Our son is very happy there and gets upset when it’s time to leave each day. This provider and her assistants give him wonderful care and treat him extremely well. The daycare area is extremely clean and well maintained with lots of activities for newborns through toddlers. We feel very fortunate that we found a place that takes such great care of our child.

I love this daycare. This is my first child and it is nerve-wracking leaving your baby with anyone other than family. This provider has a large family of her own and her staff are so loving and gentle with my baby. She always has a smile for them and is clearly happy there. They are always responsive and accomodating. I highly recommend this daycare!

My son absolutely adores this provider. I thought he was very funny because on the weekend when we are not going to daycare he always ask the question if we are going to daycare and he's so bummed when he finds out that he's not going. That's how much he loves this provider. Her place is always immaculate. I love the structure that she has with the kids. She had my son potty trained inside of two weeks of attending her daycare. I love everything that she does.

This provider and her staff provide a loving, safe environment for children. My daughter loved going to see her friends each day. The daycare area is large and very clean. I love how this provider has created centers around the room for the children to play and learn. I highly recommend this daycare!

My son has been going to this daycare for over 2.5 years (since he was 3 months old). We feel so fortunate to have found this provider, she has been a parent to him and has helped us raise our child. She has two full time helpers and between the three of them, this helps keeps the adult to child ratio low, where my son gets so much love and individual attention. There are days where he does not want to come home, and I have seen the other kids feel the same. This provider's emphasis is placed on love, learning and manners. In their early months, her philosophy is to love, care, hold the child, and really give them that nurturing environment. As they get older she has the kids on a schedule, where during the day, they have group story time, group learning time, play time, lunch, nap and then arts and crafts. This will make the transition to a regular schools very easy for us. At the age of 2 years and 8 months old, my son knows his ABC’s (and what each letter is for) numbers to 30, shapes, colors, months, days in addition to a lot more. He loves to read and will bring books to me at night or sit and try to read to himself. He has manners, they have taught him the importance of saying please and thank you. He is very clean as well. This daycare is immaculate. My son has only gotten sick maybe 4 times in 2.5 years. My son was a very picky eater and the provider helped me introduce him to new foods. She gave me ideas for meals to send and I even went there a couple of times so she could teach me how to feed him different foods. I have the upmost respect for this provider and her staff, it is a place where I can drop my son off and have a piece of mind. I have called her after hours for advice, help and even times where she has offered to babysit my son on the weekend so me and my husband can go out for dinner. I highly recommend this daycare and I would be happy to provide a reference and share my experiences in detail.

This provider has been the absolute best! My mom referred her to me because she used to watch my little sister. My son has only been there a little over a month and has already improved with his manners and speech. He is so in love with her and the other teachers!
