Claudia Appel Family Child Care is a year-round home-based daycare in Round Lake, IL. Our family child care program is run by Claudia S Appel who has 18 years of child care experience. We are open from 6:00am until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 12 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care. We also have before and after school care for children up to 12 years old. We provide meals. Claudia Appel Family Child Care is a language immersion program that offers Italian, Spanish and English. At a minimum, our teachers have an Associate's degree. I’ve known Claudia before having my own child and she is someone I can rely on. She has years of experience working with children; her daycare is clean, organized and safe. I appreciate how she incorporates her years of knowledge and experience in her daily interactions with the children. She took the time to get to know my child, therefore he feels comfortable and safe being with her. He enjoys his time with Claudia and I can be at work without any worry that he is missing me, or bored. She creates an healthy learning environment where the kids can grow in their imagination through play, crafts and music. Claudia encourages them to try new things but also allows them to grow at their own pace. She is in-tune with the motherly instincts because when I am thinking and wondering how my little one is doing she sends me text updates with pictures; I really appreciate how she not only cares for my son, but for me too.
I definitely recommend Claudia to anyone who is looking for a safe-fun place to care for their children.

La Sra. Claudia armó bien su espacio, mis hijas se sienten muy bien con el Amor de ella todos son encantadores y profesionales. Su familia es realmente buena con los niños, el tamaño de su área ayudó a que mis hijas a hablar más y a concentrarse aún mejor, es sorprendente cómo el tamaño de un area de cuidado con la presencia de una maestra calificada puede estimular las mentes, se ve como todos se conectan de una mejor manera, Estoy contenta con esta guardería familiar. También ofrecen un segundo idioma Español o Italiano algo que se quedará para siempre, no tiene precio. un buen programa de comida etc. Es como la educación en el hogar, por personas que realmente se preocupan por la educación y el desarrollo de niños. mantienen su capacidad y no aumentan el número de niños por más dinero.
Mrs Claudia well put her space together, my children’s felt very good and they started working right away, everybody were charming and professional. Her family is really good with kids, The size of her area of care help to my children’s talk more and focus even better, it is amazing how the size of a classroom with the presence of qualified teacher can stimulate minds, it felt like everybody was connecting in a better way, I m happy about this family daycare. Also Mrs Claudia offer a second language to my children’s, Spanish or Italian something that will stay forever, has no price, Good meals with a food program. It is like home schooling by people that really care about your children education and development. Mrs Claudia doesn’t grow out the number of her capacity for more money and that is a plus.

Mi hijos asisten con la Sra Claudia por 11 años y son tratados como miembro de su familia. La Sra Claudia me ha enseñado muchas cosa buenas para ayudar a mis hijos en su desarrollo, Tanto ella como su familia son buenos y fácil de llevarse bien. Su guardería es limpia, profesional y proporcionan una estructura suelta con muchas actividades y atención individualizada. La seguridad y educación que brindan es muy buena siempre han estado pendientes del desarrollo de todos los niños que cuidan. Su casa y patio estan condicionadados para los niños, Hablan inglés y español e incorporan actividades de aprendizaje para edad preescolar, Proporcionan comidas nutritivas caseras. Estamos muy agradecidos por el tiempo y la dedicación hacia nuestros hijos.

We had the priviledge of using this family daycare, for our two girls.
We love the provider. She is a wonderful in home care provider and truly provides a home away from home for the little ones in her care. We were thrilled to afford our girls the opportunity to have her care and spend each day with little friends. This provider really know my girls and loved them as her own, She understand and care for them. We especially like the educational craft and activities, including sign language, Music instruments and basic Spanish. The meals are fresh and healthy which my girls like! I even ask for her recipes, The fenced play area is safe and fun. My Girls love to spend time with this Great family, I highly recommend this family daycare.

Claudia has the nicest in home daycare I have ever seen. Her husband built all of their outdoor equipment from scratch and built the basement in a way that keeps the children safe and keeps things organized. she thoroughly cleans everything when the children leave. Instead of masks she has shields for them to wear, which she washes every day , and the kids are more comfortable that way. The only person besides family that I will trust my daughter's care with.
