Welcome to Yates Village Playhouse, our intimate home-based daycare in Springfield, VA. My child care facility is located in the Yates Village neighborhood, right off Backlick Rd (route 917). Your daily commute will be very convenient since I have easy access to Old Keene Mill Rd (route 644), the Capital Beltway (I-495), and Franconia-Springfield Pkwy (route 289). I’m also a few minutes' drive away from the Henry G. Shirley Memorial Hwy and I-95 Express Lanes.

I’m the owner and main caregiver of this nurturing family child care program. I’m a professional child care provider with 16 years of experience and strive to offer a safe and intimate environment. Like you, I’m also a mom, so I can relate to your needs and concerns when it comes to finding the best care for your little one. I want to help parents in my area by offering quality care at an affordable rate.

Yates Village Playhouse is a Play-based child care program. My normal daycare hours are from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. If needed, I can also provide before-hour daycare starting at 5:00 am and after-hours daycare until 10:00 pm during the week, and I can provide weekend child care on Saturdays (please call or email to ask about additional tuition outside of 6am-6pm, for early drop-off, night care, and weekend care.) I offer full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 2 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. For parents looking for occasional child care, I offer drop-in care. I can also accommodate school-age kids up to 12 years old and provide before and after school care (I’m close to Lynbrook Elementary School, Crestwood Elementary School, and Garfield Elementary School). I read books during circle time and we play outside if the weather is nice. I teach the kids shapes, numbers, and colors to prepare them for school. In addition to English, I speak Bengali and can teach your child this foreign language upon request (however, please note that my daycare is not a bilingual program).
