"We are a small, private, Quaker elementary school founded in 1974 and located in Southern California, outside of Los Angeles. We teach Kindergarten through 6th grade here at Whittier Friends School. We also provide a year round preschool for ages 2-6." At Whittier Friends School our mission is to provide a quality education for those children who can benefit from and contribute to a program committed to Friends' philosophy, principles and values, such as peace, simplicity, equality, integrity, service community, and outreach.
