Glasgow Park Playhouse, Alexandria

Dear parents, thank you for your interest in my family child care program! I’m the owner and main caregiver at Glasgow Park Playhouse in Alexandria, VA. I’m a mother of 2 and I am CPR First-aid certified. I have 10 years of child care experience along with a Master’s degree in Home & Child Care Management (I have owned and operated my own home daycare for 5 years). I offer full-time child care for infants as young as 1month, and for children up to 4 years old. My home daycare is small (I will only care for up to 4 children), so your child will receive lots of love and attention. I participate in the USDA Food Program and provide lunch and snacks to the children in my care (included in the tuition). I will also provide dinner to children who stay in my care after 6pm. My standard daycare hours of operation are from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I am also open on Saturdays if you need weekend child care (please send an email to ask about additional tuition for weekend care.) My curriculum helps children prepare for school. I engage my little students in fun, educational activities, such as arts, dancing, reading books, practicing handwriting, manners, etc. In addition to English, I speak Hindi and Urdu so if you’d like, I can expose your child to a foreign language (however, I don’t offer a bilingual or full immersion daycare). Glasgow Park Playhouse is located in Alexandria VA, in the Barcroft Terrace neighborhood. My home daycare is very conveniently located off Columbia Pike (route 244), near Glasgow Park. Your commute to work will be very convenient since I'm also a few minutes' drive away from Lincolnia Rd (route 613) and Leesburg Pike (route) 7. Please send an email to schedule a tour!
