Singletons Grove Kids Playhouse in Centreville, VA is a small home-based daycare and preschool program. My home is in the Singletons Grove neighborhood, near New Braddock Rd (route 620) and Centreville Rd (route 28). Your daily commute will be very convenient since I also have easy access to Union Mill Rd, Clifton Rd (route 645), and Lee Hwy (US-29).
I’m the owner and main caregiver of this intimate family child care and preschool program offering quality, yet affordable care. Like you, I’m also a mom, so I know that you only want nothing but the best for your child in terms of child care and early education.
I strive to provide a safe and loving environment where children can learn and grow. If you choose me, you can be sure that your child is safe at all times because I’m CPR & First-aid certified. Your little one will also receive plenty of individualized attention under my care since I only accept a maximum of 4 children.
I engage my little students in daily activities, such as crafts, circle time, numbers, shapes, and colors. My curriculum also includes free play, blocks, and physical activities outside. Educational charts are posted everywhere and I have toys for infants and toddlers.
Singletons Grove Kids Playhouse is a play-based learning program, allowing kids to learn through play and educational activities such as arts & crafts. I have a daily schedule we follow from doing educational activities, playtime, STEM projects, and preparing for kindergarten.
I'm open from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 1 month and 6 years old. I serve peanut and tree-nut free snacks to all kids attending my program (included in the tuition).
For older kids, I can offer before and after school care (my home is close to Centreville Elementary School and Union Mill Elementary School). I don’t provide transportation, but I can pick up the children from the bus stop.
I maintain a safe and healthy environment by wiping down tables and sanitizing toys at the end of the day. If kids are sick they have to stay home so that other children don’t get ill.
