Happy Minds Family Child Care is a year-round home-based daycare in Derwood, MD. Our family child care program is run by Vanessa Jhingory who has 6 years of child care experience and has an Associate's degree. We are open from 7:30am until 5:30pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 5 years old. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care. An excellent facility providing excellent care. I am comforted knowing my child is safe and happy during the day while I’m at work. She has cared for both my sons as though they were her own and that makes a mama’s heart very happy.

I'm beyond happy that we found this in home daycare when we did. It's so hard to leave your kids with people you can trust, but they are amazing. They treat us like family and they love our children and our children love them. Our son was here from 10 months old to age 4 and he flourished so much. I am very pleased with the care my baby girl receives at her day care. It is nerve wrecking finding a day care that you trust…but I am so grateful to have found one that I not only trust, but that my daughter feels comfortable and happy. The staff are so caring, and my daughter has progressed so much since being there!

My son and I love this daycare facility and its staff. He has come home each day excited to teach me what he has learned. His vocabulary and his overall knowledge intake has extended tremendously and he’s so confident in himself. I am so grateful for all the work they have done with him and the love they have shown to our family.
