Laurel Woods Kids Playhouse is a licensed in-home daycare and preschool in Laurel, MD. This child care facility is located in the North Laurel Park neighborhood, near Laurel Woods Elementary School (between 7th Street - route 216 - and Whiskey Bottom Rd). The daycare's location is convenient since it's within easy access to all major roads: Washington Blvd N, N 2nd St, Talbott Ave, Gorman Ave, the I-95, and Patuxent Fwy (route 32).
About Me
Hello parents! I’m the owner and main caregiver of this brand new home daycare. My goal is to offer high-quality care and early childhood education. I’m a licensed provider with CPR & First-aid certifications, and I hold an Associate's Degree in Fine Arts.
Although I’m new to the child care industry, rest assured that I can provide safe and nurturing care to your little one. I’m a mother of 4, so I have first-hand experience with my own kids. I enjoy working with children, and I have a genuine love for them!
Curriculum & Program
I offer various child care options depending on your needs such as full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 4 months to 6 years old, including children with special needs. I’m open all year-round from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
I can also provide drop-in care for your occasional child care needs. For school-age kids up to 6 years old. Children attending my program are served with peanut and tree-nut free lunch and snacks, both included in the tuition.
Laurel Woods Kids Playhouse offers a play-based teaching program and pre-K curriculum to prepare your little one for school! Daily activities include learning shapes, colors, and numbers. Upon your request, I can teach your child Pashto, Urdu, and Hindi languages in addition to English (though that my daycare is not a bilingual program).

Our son loves this caregiver and being at daycare all day. I don't think we can put into words how much she has helped promote our son's development. It's clear she encourages an open and fun atmosphere because all the kids seem to get along great. She alleviated any concerns we had about leaving our son at daycare.

My daughter has been going here for 2 months and the owner has been wonderful. She is very invested in the care and support needed for my child. She makes sure to work with her to help meet her milestones and makes suggestions to me for what I might need to work on at home. She is amazing! She's taught my son so much. I love the intimate atmosphere and overall family vibe! My son is always happy when I pick him up and loves her! Definitely recommend :)

Our daughter has been receiving care with this provider since she was 12 months old. It’s our first experience with daycare as first time parents and so far we are very happy with our experience. Our daughter loves it and we enjoy the interaction we can tell she’s getting while there. She comes home saying new words and dancing to songs she has learned. It’s been amazing to watch how much this daycare has helped with her development.

We love this provider. Finally coming to decision to send our 3 year old to daycare was a huge choice that came with a lot of anxiety. She made the transition smooth and easy for both us as parents and our LO. She is very loving and caring. We especially love that she includes meals so it's once less thing we need to worry about. Our LO loves going and asks to go on the weekends. ♡

Our son is only 6 months old, and we started taking him to this provider’s when he was 4 months old. The scores provided reflect our experience so far for the needs of an infant. This provider is very tender, thoughtful. She took care of my 10 months old very well. I really like her place because everything is clean, adapted for children and very safe.

I couldn't be happier with this provider. I don't worry about my son when he's with her. She's flexible and a nice person. I'd been on many childcare sites and calling around when I decided to reach out to them. So glad I did. My 1 year old will be with her until he starts school.
