Welcome to College Square Cozy Corner!👋 We are a licensed, home-based daycare and preschool program nestled in the quiet and welcoming College Square neighborhood of Rockville, MD. Our convenient location provides easy access to Hungerford Dr (MD 355), E. Jefferson St (MD 28), and Veirs Mill Rd (MD 586), making drop-off and pick-up convenient for busy families.

Program:

Our child care program is open year-round, Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. We offer both full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 3 months to toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years of age. For families who need care from time to time, we also offer drop-in care to provide added flexibility and convenience.

When you enroll with College Square Cozy Corner, your little one will be provided with well-balanced and healthy daily meals, at no additional cost! We also maintain a smoke-free, peanut-free, and tree-nut-free environment, with a strong focus on creating a healthy and safe space for every child.

With over 15 years of child care experience, we are dedicated to providing dependable, high-quality care that nurtures each child’s unique needs, growth, and development. We are proud to be a Maryland EXCELS Level 2–certified child care program, demonstrating our commitment to maintaining a safe, supportive, and enriching environment.

Our staff is also certified in CPR, First Aid, and MAT (Medication Administration Training), providing families with additional peace of mind. In addition to English, we are fluent in Hindi and Punjabi, and we are happy to introduce and teach these languages to the children upon request. Our hope is that every child who spends time at College Square Cozy Corner feels loved, supported, and excited to come back each day, and that every parent feels the same peace of mind they would want for their own family.

Curriculum & Activities:

Every day at College Square Cozy Corner is filled with opportunities for children to learn, play, explore, and have fun. We use a play-based curriculum along with an integrated preschool curriculum to help children develop important early learning and social skills through hands-on experiences.

We do not use television or screen-based programming, even when it is educational, because we believe young children learn best when they are actively involved in their environment. Instead, we keep children engaged with thoughtfully planned, age-appropriate activities such as reading, puzzles, games, arts and crafts, sensory play, and other educational activities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and curiosity.

We offer both indoor and outdoor play areas, giving children a variety of ways to stay active and explore throughout the day. We intentionally limit our enrollment to a maximum of 8 children, allowing us to provide the individualized care, attention, and guidance that young children need during these important early years.

We also provide nutritious morning and afternoon snacks to help keep our little ones energized and ready to learn and play. Above all, we want each child to look forward to coming through our doors each day, knowing they will have a safe, fun-filled day, in a caring place to learn, play, and grow.
