OPENINGS: We have a short-term opening for 2 years old and above until September 1st, 2024.
Abay's Early Learning Playhouse is a home based day care located in Silver Spring and open from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm all year round. I provide outstanding care and safety to the children aged 3 months to 3 years old. The day care is newly renovated, it is spacious, colorful and inviting to young children. It is located near William Tyler Page Elementary School. The beautiful backyard of the day care is safe and attractive for all outdoor activities with various outdoor toys.
I have an open door policy so parents can stop by at any time. I have 5 years of child care experience with excellent references. My day care motto is "SUCCESS BEGINS AT THE START", so reading, writing, math and science are part of the daily curriculum with the help of the caregivers and various books available in the day care. The goal of the curriculum I created is to prepare children for kindergarten.
In addition, the day care walls are beautifully decorated with educational posters and plenty of toys that give a warm and happy atmosphere to the precious mind of the child. I provide all meals if the parents want to.
To prevent any infectious diseases, I sanitize and wipe down surfaces with sanitizing solution, and I also deep clean every Friday.

From the moment we first came to this daycare I immediately knew that this was the place for my son. Now it's been over a year and we are so happy we selected here as his day care. He loves being there under their care every day with his friends. The providers are so very loving and caring.

The owner is a great childcare provider! It is clear that she cares and loves each child in her center. She follows all guidelines to ensure your child is safe and happy. I breathe easy knowing my son is in her care. I highly recommend this childcare program.

Excellent daycare. Our son has been coming here for two years now. He loves going each day, he loves the teachers, he has fun and always seems to be learning (his verbal development has been especially great while attending this daycare). It seems like a safe and nurturing space.

This provider has been watching our two kids(3 year old boy and 1 year old girl) for about 6 months now, and it has been a pleasure. Our kids enjoy going everyday, and have learned a lot going as well. Would definitely recommend for those who need childcare throughout the work day.

My son began attending this daycare when I first returned to work after Mat leave at 3mo. He is now almost 8mo and seems to really love his time with the providers and other children. He gets excited to see this provider as she greets him every morning. She keeps him on a predictable schedule and will notify me of noticeable inconsistencies. For example, yesterday he didn't nap on his usual schedule and she let me know.

This provider has been such a wonderful care provider for our son for nearly two years now. She loves the kids in her daycare as if they were her own and has been so reliable during all the uncertainty of the pandemic. This provider is a saint. we love her daycare center and have used it as a second home for our little guy for almost 2 years. She keeps it a safe and clean environment. She plays with kids and when they get older she works with them on their letters, number, and words. I cant say enough good things about it, and Im so grateful ewe found it.

This provider took great care of my son. She is kind, attentive, caring and nurturing. He started when he was 6 months old and we were very nervous parents. After his first day we could tell we made the right choice. My son enjoyed going to this facility every day and some days did not want to leave! I would recommend this daycare to everyone!

My 16 month old baby boy has been going for 8 months. He adores this provider and the other children. His social skills and curiousity are through the roof! It’s such a relief to know that my son is not only very happy at daycare, but he’s learning tons and eating well. I love this place! This provider is fantastic.

This provider is a wonderful person and truly cares about my daughter. This provider was the first time my daughter would be going to daycare and I was extremely nervous but she reassured me she would be fine and now my daughter loves going everyday. She has learned her alphabet, how to count, her colors as well as her vocabulary being expanded since she's attended for the last 9 months. I would recommend this provider to anyone.

My son loves this provider. The facility is clean and the kids are comfortable. I feel at ease knowing he is in good hands while I work. She’s flexible and really cares about the kids. My son doesn’t want to leave when I go to pick him up. Excellent provider!!
