Welcome to Veirs Mill Village Playhouse, a licensed home-based daycare and preschool conveniently located in Silver Spring, MD. Our facility is nestled within the Veirs Mill Village neighborhood, near the beautiful Winding Creek Local Park. Your daily commute will be hassle-free, as we're a less-than-5-minute drive from Randolph Rd, Veirs Mill Rd (route 586), and Connecticut Ave (route 185). I've been operating my child care business for 25 years with proper certification. Alongside my degree in Commerce, I hold CPR & First-aid training. Being a mom to five kids, I bring practical experience to the table. This personal connection has greatly informed my child care approach. I’ve been a caregiver for many years now, and I still love what I do. Being a daycare provider is fulfilling for several reasons. You get to play a crucial role in the children’s growth and development. It's rewarding to see them learn, make friends, and achieve milestones under my care.

At Veirs Mill Village Playhouse, we embrace the play-based learning method, allowing kids to flourish through play and educational activities. This includes arts & crafts, singing, story time as well as fun educational games. In addition to English, I'm proficient in Spanish, as well as Filipino/Tagalog. So, we can introduce these languages to your child if you'd like, though our daycare isn't entirely bilingual. We provide full-time and part-time care for newborns, infants, toddlers, and preschoolers up to 5 years old. Our doors are open from 8:15 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, year-round. Nutritious and healthy snacks are part of our offering and are included in the tuition!
