Gloryber's Spanish Academy, Alexandria

This review has been a long time coming - we were so lucky to meet the childcare provider and her family. I had visited a handful and none of them had the attention to detail, curriculum/activities, separate sleeping space for babies, music room, outdoor space, and cleanliness that she had! I was a first time parent and my son was with her from 6mo until 1.5 YO, when we moved away. We absolutely loved her and her family and wish we could have been with her longer; I've never found another in home daycare like this one. She was meticulous, responsive, and so giving. She planned parties for the families! The Christmas party was my favorite. Anyone would be lucky to get a spot here!

My daughter has been going here since she was 5 months. She loves it, at 2 she knows her colors and numbers in English and Spanish. They even provide homemade food and my daughter loves the pupusas! I would recommend this place for anyone.

My child has progressed quickly during her time here. Each day she's smiling and eager to attend. I trust her with my child's life. She and her staff are extremely loving, kind and patient. Your child is more than a number here. This team takes the time to for a special bond with EACH child. This is true professionalism at its best!

I love love LOVE this daycare, the care provider, and her assistant (her mother). I cannot say this enough! I toured many daycares and this is the first & only one that met all of my requirements. The daycare is new and on the main level of the home so it is filled with plenty of natural light. There are separate rooms for the infants (great for their sleep and play spaces), an art and music room, and the large play & learning space. The daycare has been so clean and well organized every day. The provider takes pride in her facility and all the work she has put into it. It shows! She has all of her certificates and licenses beautifully displayed on the wall as soon as you enter. The backyard is a fantastic and safe play space with a bunch of new equipment. The number of children in their care is kept low so each child receives plenty of love and attention. Most importantly, the providers and children feel like a big family. It's so warm and inviting! My baby is smiling and reaching for them as soon as he arrives. This puts my anxious mama heart at ease. The provider communicates very well (frequently and timely) and provides daily baby logs so I know how much our 6 month old ate, napped, and was changed. I also love that my child is getting introduced to the Spanish language at an early age! I 110% recommend this daycare and provider!

I am so happy to have this daycare to watch over my son. The provider is one of the most caring people I have ever met and she obviously has a gift for putting children at ease. Covid quarantine was tough on our family, as it was on so many others, and my son was exclusively at home with me from 18months - 3 years. He was so wary and upset around strangers but within seconds of meeting this provider, he was excited to go play with her. She is easy to communicate with and runs her daycare very well. He has learned so much from her even though he only goes twice a week!
