About Me
Founded in 2008, we offer a professional, secure, and fun child care program with an overall environment filled with love, learning and respect. One of my greatest passions is working with children. The ability to help, play, share with, and teach a child fills me with great satisfaction and joy.
I am extremely proud to be a provider and be able to offer a child in their first years all the love, care, and intellectual stimulation that a child need in those first crucial years. My background in child care began here in the United States back in 1998 working for a Catholic Church Day Care (St. Gabriel’s). I then founded my own licensed family daycare.
During all this time I attended different trainings and obtained my CDA (Child Development Associate National Credentials), my MAT (Medication Administration Training) and my CPR/First Aid Administration. I am a member of NAFCC (National Association for Family Child Care).
Child Care Curriculum
My goal at Virginia Hills Bilingual Daycare is that every child learns through educative play. That is why each child is offered different experiences that stimulate their social, emotional and cognitive motor skills. Our daily activities include: free play time, structured play time, large and small motor skill activities, story time, arts and crafts, music and dance, outdoor activities (weather permitting), science, languages, and much more. All these activities depend on the ages and needs of each child in preparation for kindergarten and young lives.
My meal plan program includes healthy options and is in accordance with the USDA food program.
Your child would receive individual and professional attention, filled with love and respect, where every child would feel as if they were in a family setting.

The owner has been wonderful to with as a care provider for my young son. He’s been with her for a little over a year and has grown and learned so much. I’m always impressed with the new things he knows and can do.

my child was still be here if we were not moving. This was an excellent place for my child to start his early years. She is so great with teaching children the basics that they need to be successful when they are growing up. my child has so much developmental skills. She is so great with the kids. She’s patient and you could tell. She really cares about them and her whole family. We will truly miss her and and 10 out of 10 I will recommend

The owner creates a structured, fun, and loving environment where kids learn to be independent and kind. Both of our children loved going to this daycare. We felt confident that they were doing developmentally appropriate activities, eating healthy food, and cared for well. They made great friends and built a strong learning foundation. Thank you!

Highly recommended in-home daycare. The actual facility is a converted basement that opens up directly into a large backyard, where the kids play when weather permits.
She provides a good rotation of activities to keep the kids engaged and educated, including art, puzzles, and education, though there isn't a school-type curriculum. For me, it's enough that there isn't a TV running throughout the day.

It is an understatement to say that over the past few years this caregiver has become like family. I can't say enough great things about this provider. First and foremost, she loves these children and therefore cares so much about their health, well-being, and education. My daughter has been with this provider since she was 3 months old. My daughter enjoys her time there and she is challenged to learn more all of the time. We are thankful to have access to such a warm, caring, and nurturing place for our little one.

I can't say enough good things about this provider. I echo the other reviewers in saying that the safety and well-being of the children are the teachers' top priority. They treat the children as if they were their own, and my son could not love his teachers more! He is learning Spanish along with his alphabet, numbers, and shapes and colors. My child has been at this day care for almost two years and absolutely LOVES the teacher and her assistant. They are extremely caring and loving, and the children's safety is their highest priority. We have sent two children to this daycare. It is a safe, caring place where our kids have thrived. When my older daughter went to preschool she was well-prepared academically and socially. It is clear that this provider and her assistants love all the children. My kids are happy, and that is so important to us.

Highly recommend this provider for child care and child development. Lillie loved being there, learned so much both education and interaction with other kids.
