Valley View Children's Place II is a bilingual Spanish daycare and preschool in Alexandria, VA. This is our second location and after successfully running our first child care facility for a year, we decided to open a 2nd facility so we can serve more families! This licensed child care program is located in the Kings Highway neighborhood, near Groveton Heights Park. Your daily commute to work will be very convenient since I'm only a minute drive away from these 2 major roads: S Kings Hwy (route 633) and Richmond Hwy (US-1).

About Me:
Hi, parents! I’m the owner and main caregiver of this high-quality child care and early childhood education program. I’m a licensed daycare provider with 30 years of professional experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Infant Care. I’m also CPR & First-aid certified, so kids under my care are safe at all times.
I know you’re anxious about leaving your little one to someone you barely know while away working. Don’t worry, like you, I’m also a parent, a mom to 3 children, so I understand how you feel. If you choose me, I will make sure to treat your kids as if they were my own.
Program:
Valley View Children's Place II is a bilingual Spanish program, so I teach kids the Spanish language in addition to English. I also engage my little students in fun, educational activities like Art and Music.
My in-home daycare is open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Mondays through Fridays. I'm also open on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (please send an email to inquire about weekend care). I offer full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 4 months, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old, including children with special needs. I serve peanut and tree-nut free lunch and snacks to all kids in my care (meals are already included in the tuition).
I can also accommodate school-age children up to 12 years old and provide before and after school care (my home is near Groveton Elementary School and only 3 minutes’ drive away from Hybla Valley Elementary School).
I've been running another small home daycare and this is our 2nd location. We decided to open a 2nd facility so we can serve more families, but also to be able to keep a small, intimate environment where individual care and attention can be provided to each child.

We have been very happy with this daycare. The staff were so kind and patient when we first started and our son was getting used to being away from home and learning to drink from a bottle. I’m am also always so impressed with the cleanliness of their space. This place feels like leaving your child with loving family.

The owner and team are amazing! My husband and are very happy with the daycare. Our son is happy and comfortable with them. It's always nice that our son (and us) are received with a smile and joy at drop-off and pick-up. It makes the process smoother.The sense of family daycare that they provide is truly wonderful. The love and care that they have toward our son, safety, the educational activities, and home cooked meals make us feel at peace as parents. We are so grateful for them!!

We highly recommend this provider and her staff. She has cared for our son since he was 3 months old. She is so loving and attentive and our son smiles at her and the rest of the staff each morning at drop off. We love that he is learning some Spanish with her. Her home is always clean and I love that the main level of her home serves as the daycare space so there are lots of windows and the space is visible to me at drop off and pick-up. Our son is always clean and well-fed when we pick him up. We are so sad to leave her but we are moving out of state.

We absolutely love her. She takes great care of my baby. We started using her when our baby was 6 months old and we’ve been very happy. It was the first time we left our daughter in the care of someone else so as you can imagine, we were very nervous but extremely pleased with the care she received (and continued to receive).
She & her team are nurturing, caring and very intentional as they care for our baby. They provide individualized attention to her, which we love. Her place is very clean and sanitized, and the overall facility is very safe. There are different rooms that target teaching, reading and playing. Oh, and the icing on the cake is that they are a bilingual daycare! We love everything about it. I highly suggest this daycare if you are looking.
