Welcome to Fosters Crest Playhouse, my home daycare in Alexandria, VA (in the Fosters Crest community, in Kingstowne). My home is right off Beulah St (route 613) with easy access to the I-495, I-95, I-395, as well as Fairfax County Parkway. I’m also a few minutes away from the Springfield Transportation Center which offers access to the Metro, VRE or Amtrak.
I’m the owner and main caregiver of this small, nurturing child care and early childhood education program. I have 20 years of experience and I’m CPR & First-aid certified. As a mom of 3 myself, I can relate to your concerns when it comes to finding safe and quality care for your little one. At my daycare, your child will receive plenty of individual attention.
My family child care program is open year-round from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time care for infants as young as 2 months, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 4 years old. Snacks are already included in the tuition, and served to all children attending my program.
I follow the Play-based teaching approach, allowing children to learn through play and fun educational activities. I supply age-appropriate toys and engage my little students in fun activities such as reading, coloring, playing with blocks, learning shapes and much more!
There are two community playgrounds near my house and if weather permits, I take them out so they can enjoy their outdoor playtime. In addition to English, I also speak Persian/Urdu/Dari/Farsi and at your request, I can expose your child to these foreign languages (however, please note that my daycare is not a bilingual program).

She is an excellent child care provider! I feel so good knowing my daughter is in her care while I work. She is easy to communicate with and is very responsive. She was so patient with my daughter when she struggled with the transition to daycare. I highly recommend her!

I wish I could sit down with you in person and tell you the hundreds of reasons she was such a blessing in our life. Our son absolutely adored her and so did we, she was reliable, kind and so loving! I've personally recommended her to anyone I know in the area and am so fortunate to have found her through Care Lulu!

This provider has been caring for our daughter full-time since she was 3 months old. She is now almost 2 years old and gets very excited when its time to go see her friends. She provides a very loving, nurturing atmosphere for the children and truly treats them like her own. We are able to go to work with the ease of knowing our daughter is in the best care.

Noam was 7 month old when first time ever started being anywhere other than home. The first time we went to see this place we fall in love. The place is beautiful and child friendly. She is amazing and very professional, and it took our son only 2 days to feel like home. Whenever we picked him up, he was so content and calm and happy, that we could guess he had a great time. I cannot think about anywhere else to have my child except this provider.

The provider has been simply wonderful with my son who joined her daycare in Jan 2020. From day one she has shown him a lot of love and affection and has made him feel at home immediately. She plays with him and feeds him with a lot of patience and care. It touched my heart when she mentioned to me that she sings songs to put him to sleep cause I know he similarly loves that. I can safely say that I trust her entirely with my son and her daycare is a warm and happy place. We have gotten to know not only the provider but her whole family as well. And they are really awesome people and we are grateful to have found her. She makes my son happy and content and makes him feel like home even when he is away from home. He actually asks to go there and is very happy to go to her daycare every morning. This provider is a God sent and we can go about our day knowing that our child is safe with her and extremely well taken care of. As time passed her family has become a part of ours.And this provider has also gotten to be a good friend of mine. I would highly recommend her daycare to any parent looking for one.

Overall: They provide nothing but the BEST care for my son and all other children that she cares for. The provider has been watching my son for more than 4 years (from age 6 months to almost 5 years old) - and I have never worried about my son while he was under her care. I know that she loves and treats my son as if he were her own child. Because of this, the provider and I have become good friends, and I’m sure that we will continue our friendship long after my son leaves her care.
Facilities: They provide daycare services at her home, which is a beautiful in Alexandria (Fairfax County). There is always plenty of parking available (either in or nearby her driveway) at drop-off and pick-up times. The place is safe, quiet, and well-kept. It is spacious and its facilities (kitchen, bathrooms, etc.) are very modern. In addition, this provider and her husband recently redecorated, setting aside an adorable playroom for her daycare. Finally, the house is always clean and the temperature is comfortable.
Curriculum and Teachers: Not applicable (this is an in-home daycare).
Safety: As stated above, I never worry about my son when he is under this provider's care. This is probably because the provider is extremely attentive to the children that she watches. She keeps dangerous items out of reach, and keeps a close eye on children.

Our daughter has being going with this provider since she was 10 months old (2016) and we are very happy to find a remarkable place for our little girl. She loves this provider and enjoys and looks forward going there every day. The child daycare ratio is per state requirement; therefore, the provider takes the time to help my daughter discover, in her own way, a faciscinating world play and learn learn. This provider genuinely cares about children and has a sensitive instincts and knowledge to understand a child’s individual development needs. The play room is colorful and safe for kids, which creates a magnetic and loving space to be. We trust this provider since whe is a very enthusiastic, committed, gentle and extraordinary woman and professional.

This provider is an amazing caregiver and we were truly lucky to find her. She watched our daughter from 9 weeks until just before 3 yrs (we moved) and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. This provider is extremely loving and attentive. If you can’t stay home with your little one then this provider is the next best thing!

This provider started caring for our daughter when she was three months old. At the time, she was our first and only child and I remember feeling nervous to leave her for the first time. The provider was so gentle, compassionate and nurturing and I recall leave our daughter behind that first day with a sense of reassurance and peace. The provider is wonderful and she will treat your children like they are a member of her own family. I highly recommend this daycare to family's with children of all ages.

The provider is a loving, conscientious and highly professional caregiver who I recommend wholeheartedly and without any reservations to any parent. She provided excellent care for several years for both my daughters, beginning as young as three months. I had complete trust and confidence in her and my daughters were so happy in her care.
