Mariposa Child Care is a licensed daycare and preschool in Bethesda, MD. She's a mother of 2 who is also CPR & First-aid certified, as well as MAT trained (she can therefore administer medication to children in care, if needed).
This is a bilingual Spanish program that follows the play-based teaching philosophy. Children learn through play and are taught the Spanish language, in addition to English. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to learn a foreign language at you very young age! The facility is located in Bethesda near Burning Tree Elementary School in the Woodhaven area. The daycare is conveniently located with easy access to Bradley Blvd (route 191) and the Capital Beltway (I-495).

My daughter has attended daycare with the lead teacher, at this facility and because of her guidance, patience, expertise, love, and professionalism my daughter is growing into a confident, curious and hard working four year old. Ms. L. has helped create a nurturing, challenging, accepting environment for all the children. This has allowed my daughter to come out of her shell and show me, her teachers and herself that she is a very capable learner and friend. This is all thanks to Ms. L's high expectations in combination with her empathetic and loving nature.
We toured this facility and it is clean, renovated, interactive, bright, and a place that will inspire great learning experiences for children. I know that my daughter did not want to leave after touring it. I highly recommend this center because of the talented, wonderful, genuine care provider Ms. L. is.
