We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Little Brown Bear. Ms. LaShawn did such a wonderful job taking care of our son. When he started at Little Brown Bear, our son had a feeding tube, and Ms. LaShawn learned his schedule and how he needed to be fed. She always followed our instructions. She was so patient with him, allowing him to explore foods and textures. I’m convinced that her patience and care is why he did so well in her care and eventually started eating by mouth (a huge win for him!)! Additionally, she would take him outside on a daily basis (weather permitting), had lots of toys that she would rotate, and did art projects with him. We were sad to leave the Little Brown Bear when we moved, but we continue to stay in touch with her to this day! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for care for their child, but especially if their child has some additional special needs!!
