Gabriela Gonzalez Family Child Care is a year-round home-based daycare in Chicago, IL. Our family child care program is run by Gabriela Gonzalez who has 20 years of child care experience. We are open from 7:00am until 5:00pm (late pick up available/extra charge) and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 10 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care. We also have after school care for children up to 10 years old. We provide meals and offer a peanut and tree-nut free environment. Gabriela Gonzalez Family Child Care is a language immersion program that offers Spanish and English. I can't speak more highly of Growing & Learning, Gabriela, and her team. My son has been in her care since he was 1-year-old and he's almost 5. Her indoor and outdoor space is clean, bright, and welcoming. Her whole team is friendly, loving, compassionate, skilled, and generous. Her care is play-based with organized activities, including reading circle, special art projects, monthly themes (ex/ sea creatures, plants), and lots of outdoor time as weather allows. In her care, my son has learned how to write, read his first words, be kind to those around him, how to go potty, how to respect other's space, and so much more. He is well prepared to start pre-K soon! I highly recommend her care! We will miss bringing our son here and being part of this wonderful community, but hope to always stay connected.

Gabriela is the most patient and loving caretaker in the world! She has so much fun with the kids, they do crafts, play games, do special things around the holidays and she treats her daycare like a preschool. My girls knew letters, numbers, colors and shapes by the age of 2! She is a true gem in the city!
