My son started at Mrs Roberts daycare, 08/28/17. She informed me that day that I would need someone else to watch him on the 29th as she had an MRI appointment for her daughter, & no back up provider. That Thursday at pickup, she asked me to pick my son up an hour after drop off the following day, and bring him to work for several hours while she went to a teacher meet & greet at her children's school. I work at a farm/slaughterhouse. Not my fault that she, the daycare provider, was unprepared. 09/11, I was home sick with food poisoning, and my son was home with me. 09/12/17 at pickup she rudely told me that I smelled. The following day at pickup, I asked for an apology for her rude comment. She didn't apologize, & made excuses bringing my boyfriend & home situation with my work boots up as if it was any of her business. Thursday morning at drop off, I was denied entering the facility while my son was ushered inside. I didn't get to hug or kiss my son goodbye before leaving for work. I informed her at pickup that afternoon that Friday would be his last day, and that I had found another facility that better suited mine & my son's needs. 10:30 pm that night, I received a text from her. "Due to recent events I have decided to terminate our agreement effectively today September 14, 2017. Thursday. I will be available tomorrow between 6pm to 7 pm for you to retrieve his diapers and deposit." I almost lost my job over this because I had zero time to find emergency care. I showed up to retrieve the diapers & money. The diapers were on the front porch but no money. No one answered the door. I rang the doorbell a few times, & knocked once. After realizing she wasn't going to refund the money, I decided to leave when a police officer pulled up. Apparently Mrs Roberts felt threatened by me, and felt that I was going to retaliate in some violent [redacted] conclusion, this woman is crazy and should not be caring for children.
Response from the provider:
Hi, Thank you for writing a review but I have never cared for your child. Please remove your review as you are not one of my childcare parents and this review is not relevant to my childcare or about me.

Good care but not available as needed. Lots of days off which can be hard on parents.
Response from the provider:
I really enjoyed watching your infant son the one day that I watched him in April. I informed you that I can only watch two children under the age of two at one time. I would need at least 24-48 hour notice in case I did not have an infant opening available the days that you would need drop in care. I am sorry that the days that you needed drop in care I did not have an opening. It was a pleasure caring for your son and if you need drop in care in the future I would be happy to care for him if I have an opening available the day you would need drop in care.

Beth is amazing with children & also amazing with my daughter. I only wish I lived closer to her. I f I did my daughter would be with her during the day. Beth works hard to make sure all kids are getting the best in care and in learning new things. I highly recommended her for child care and learning.

Beth has watched my son full time since he was 3 months old. He loves spending the day with Beth and her family. I love knowing my son is well cared for and treated like part of Beth's family. I highly recommend Beth!
