About Me

Hi parents! Welcome to Nasreen Cassim Family Child Care, a high-quality and affordable family child care program in Potomac, MD. I’m the owner and main caregiver and I would love to welcome you and your little one into our home.

I’m a mother of 3 with over 20 years of child care of experience, so you can be comfortable leaving your child in my care! I’m licensed, first-aid and CPR certified, and I run our home daycare with my assistant, who’s also a mother herself. Our daycare is located in a quiet residential neighborhood near a park. My home and outdoor space are large, so your children will have plenty of space to learn and play!

About My Daycare

Nasreen Cassim Family Child Care provides both full-time and part-time daycare for infants as young as 6 weeks, and for children up to 5 years old. Our child care hours are from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, and snacks are included.

Our home daycare is located in the Hollinridge neighborhood between Travilah and Potomac, near Watts Branch Park. The closest schools are Wayside Elementary School and Potomac Elementary School, which are both just a few minutes’ drive away.

My son has been going to this daycare for about 6 months now and we have been very happy, and more importantly, our son is very happy. He's happy when I drop him off and he's happy when I come to pick him up. They take great care of him and the other kids who are there are a delight.

We have loved our time with this caregiver and her team. From the first time we met her, we felt that she'd be a wonderful caretaker for our son. She and her team are wonderful with kids -- they let them play inside and outside (weather permitting), and regularly send photos and updates of our child. She has come to know our son very well, and let's us know if there are any concerns/issues we should be aware of. She is flexible on schedules, and gives us heads up if things arise on her end. Most importantly, our son loves her! We are very grateful to have her in our lives!

Our son started in January and he is always excited to get dropped off. Every morning he gets the biggest smile on his face when he sees Miss N. (so much so that one time he even shut the door on me as I was talking to her). They send pictures daily, especially on request and are always available when we call or check in. Her co worker is always warm and receiving and is always quick to give us updates on any given day. They know his schedule and have been very open to making suggestions on what they think we can start to incorporate. We plan to stay with them until he starts elementary school!

We love this provider and her team like family. They take such good care of our son, and have treated him like their own from the moment we placed him there when he was 8 months old and now is 3. He spends more time with them than with us so they played a critical role in his upbringing. He learned to speak, his ABC's, numbers, how to color and be polite. We've always felt safe and that he was very well cared for. The place is large and the kids have enough space to play and feel home and are encouraged to be their true selves. We certainly highly recommend this daycare.

We've sent our child to this provider for the past year and are thrilled with every aspect of her care. The provider and co. provide amazing, loving support for all the children in their care, encouraging them to play and grow at their own pace. Our child is always so happy to go to this provider and comes home smiling every day. We have not hesitated to recommend this provider to our friends who are looking into child care options, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone who asks!

The provider, and her family, are the absolute best and most caring people. I have actually known the provider for my entire life, as she was my daycare provider when I was little, and she is so passionate and nurturing with every child. My son absolutely loves going to daycare here. The providers regularly send us photos/videos, and in all of them our son is just so happy and cared for. What is especially great is to see the engagement and interaction that he has with the provider and other kids. We would highly recommend the provider to anyone who is looking!

Our daughter has attended this in-home daycare since she was just three months old. She loves it there and gets so excited to see the providers as well as the other kids who attend with her. The providers regularly send us videos and really care about the kids. They are just wonderful and have come to be more like family. We highly recommend them to anyone looking!

My son has been attending daycare with this provider for a few months now, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The provider and her family are absolutely wonderful with him. They are great at keeping the kids engaged and interacting, whether it is through toys, activities, outdoor play or story time. The provider and her family are wonderful. I have been sending my daughter here for over a year. They are very accommodating and loving. I receive pictures and videos throughout the day and updates whenever I want. The home is gorgeous and always clean.

The provider and her family (son and sister in Law) are so kind and warm. I trust them like my own family. I started taking my son there when he was 6 months old. He is now 2.5 and he really loves it there. I have recommended them to anyone I know looking for home care for their kids! This provider gives my son snacks and toast almost every day. Also, they work with him and do “homework” activities with him. He gets to go outside and feed the ducks and play with cars etc. we love it there!

My son was with this provider from 3 months - 2 years. She Was like a mother to him- so attentive and nurturing. He was always so happy and in good spirits. As a new mom, she really made me feel comfortable and assured that he was in good hands. Whenever we were running late she would call to make sure Musa was ok. She is the best!

I was so happy with this provider. She is the best. She potty trained my girl and boy. She also taught them to read. She is the best!! I would recommend her to everyone!
