My son is now 4 years old and has spent all of his daycare experience at Good Hope Daycare. We are truly grateful for all the love, nurturing, and fun experiences he has had with Chepy. She is always making sure he was well cared for and he has never had an accident nor been neglected. I always knew he was in great hands when I left him there and it was reassuring everyday when I arrived to pick him up because he never wanted to leave. He has now moved on to preschool and we are so grateful for everything he learned because he was truly ready for transitioning to preschool and it's all because of his great experience at Good Hope Daycare.

My son was only here for 4 months. Initially I was excited when he began going here because the facility is really nice and the owner has all of these accreditations; however, the staff is inconsistent. There were always different people throughout the day for the first month and then recently the owner hired a younger family member to assist her. In May my son, who was 7 months at the time had u explainable blisters on his toes. Nobody was able to tell me what happened and I actually think I was the first person to notice because when I arrived to pick him up there was still dry blood all over the blisters. I was told to please get him shoes because it could be because of the way he's learning to crawl. No. This was a sign of neglect and it was clear my son was left in a certain spot for too long. This month, June, I arrived to the daycare only to find my now 8 month old witha very bad sunburn from being kept outside for an hour and half in 90 degree weather during peak sun hours. When I brought my son home he was lethargic and dehydrated. His right was swollen. I was horrified. I immediately decided to remove him. Apparently the children play outside in water but there are a couple of issues with this since that could be incredibly dangerous and also it was clear again my son was left in the same spot for incredibly too long. Not to mention, I provided the daycare with sunscreen, a long sleeve too, and hat. I had to give my son Tylenol and confirm with his doctor that he was indeed okay, after repeatedly putting aloe Vera on him and giving him a lot of water. Overall I think the owner may be a good provider but she has the tendency of leaving her assistant alone to go do bank runs and whatever else she has to do. She could never tell me what happened exactly and it was because she wasn't there. I would think twice about putting your child here. Maybe a toddler would be okay but not a baby.

Both of my children attended Good Hope Family Day Care from 3 months of age to a little over 3 years of age. Josefina "Chepy" Rios provided a loving and caring environment where my children flourished socially, behaviorally, and educationally. She treated my children as if they were one of her own and was honest and professional in talking with my husband and I about their needs and we would collaborate on how to address them. Both of my children were also well prepared for the pre-school environment. I could not have asked for a better environment for my children in their early years of development.

Good Hope Daycare is the best family daycare you can find. We have trusted our boys with Chepy for years. It is always a relief to know that our son is going to be safe while he's being cared for each day. Our son has a great relationship with the providers and the children at the daycare. We love the structured learning, daily feedback and communication we get at our daycare.

Everything was good except I would have some security system installed with recording cameras.

I have used this home day care for more than 2 years for care of my daughter and son. This is like having a family member watch your children. Josefina ("Cheppy") and her team are loving, caring and supportive of all the children's needs.
