About Me
Welcome to Winslow Hills Multilingual Children's Place, my home daycare and preschool in Alexandria, VA. I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have 2 decades of experience in child care and early childhood education. I’m a mother of 4 myself and I hold a CPR & First-aid certifications, so you can be sure that little one is safe at all times. My daycare offers a nurturing and loving environment and I treat every child as if they are my own.
Curriculum
Learning should be fun! That is why I follow the Play-based teaching philosophy, allowing children to learn through play. My program offers many engaging educational activities such as Story Time, Arts & Crafts, Singing, Exercise & Fitness, and Cooking Time! I make sure to prepare my little students for kindergarten and teach basic math as well as early literacy.
In addition to English, I also speak Spanish and Korean fluently. My daycare is a bilingual Spanish program (I speak Spanish and English throughout the day), and I can also teach Korean upon parents' request. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to become multilingual at a very young age!
Program
My child care hours are between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I offer various options to accommodate your child care needs such as full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 3 months, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. Before and after school care are both available for school-age kids, up to 12 years old (I’m near Bush Hill Elementary School, Rose Hill Elementary School, Clermont Elementary School, and Franconia Elementary School).

Winslow Hills Multilingual Children's Place is located in the Winslow Hills neighborhood of Alexandria. My facility is right off Franconia Rd (route 644), near the Rose Hill Shopping Center. Your daily commute to work will be convenient since I have easy access to Telegraph road (route 611), the Capital Beltway (I-495) and the I-95. The caregiver is amazing! Our daughter started there at 5 1/2 months old and has made amazing strides in the 7 months she has spent at daycare. with a small number of kids there, her caregiver is able to provide hands-on care and attention. We waited until our child was about 11 months old to send him to day care because of COVID. This provider has made us feel 100% comfortable with our decision to get him started. She made sure both parents and baby were comfortable with the transition. We get regular updates through out the day on how our child is doing. The kids enjoy plenty of outdoors time when weather permits. Our child is happy at pick up and drop off.

This provider has such a huge, warm heart. Our daughter’s first experience with a caregiver outside the family was with her. This provider treated her with such care and patience while teaching basics that helped a smooth transition into pre-school.
We’re so grateful to have found such a loving daycare provider.

We were incredibly lucky to find this provider to care for our 2 year-old daughter when I made a decision to go back to work full-time. With little time to look for a care provider and hoping to place her somewhere Spanish is taught, our daughter found a caring second home where she has fun, eats/sleeps well, and has picked up more Spanish than my son who's in preschool. I used to take my children to this daycare when they were younger. They loved going to her because she is full of energy and she kept them busy with indoor and outdoor activities. She is very gentle with them. I am still puzzled by how she can keep her place and children clean!
I would recommend her to anyone.

I’m so glad I found this provider to watch my 6.5 yo son. I am always having a very hard time with trusting people with my child, but she is so great my son is having a blast spending time with her. She is extremly reliable and very organized. The games and activities are very educational and fun. Her place is very safe and clean. I would recommend her to anybody who is looking for the best daycare to trust with their precious ones...

This daycare is absolutely amazing. The owner takes care of my son like her own, she knows his habits and what he likes. She offers a wide variety of activities for kids, cooks them healthy meals and spends lots of time outside playing with them, kids love it. She reads and studies with them.
