Welcome to Michele Salinas Bilingual Daycare, a nurturing child care and preschool program in Alexandria, VA. Our family-owned daycare is led by a provider with over 16 years of experience and a Child Development Associate’s degree. We care for children from infancy (2 months) to age 5 and offer a Montessori-inspired environment with a bilingual Spanish program. Our curriculum encourages growth in every area through creative activities like arts, science, music, and storytelling.
We take pride in offering a personalized early learning experience, tailored to each child’s age and developmental stage. Infants enjoy loving one-on-one attention and sensory play, while toddlers explore their independence through art, puzzles, and hands-on learning. Preschoolers build school-readiness skills in early math, reading, and science while enjoying gardening and outdoor play that fosters a love for nature. Healthy habits start here too, with organic, allergy-conscious meals provided daily in a peanut- and tree nut-free environment.

Both my children started attending here over a year ago. My oldest now attends Kindergarten; she was well-prepared and still asks to visit her "old school." This daycare is an amazing childcare program. They are so welcoming, warm, caring, and easy to work with. My son is extremely happy here and I have never worried while he is in their care. They treat him like I do, are very attentive and provide age appropriate guidance and correction when he is feisty! my son is thriving in their care. I have no complaints. Highly recommend this program!

This might be the BEST child care that has ever existed. I cannot say enough good things about these providers and the entirety of their loving, educational, and fun daycare. really awesome experience, leonardo always has a great time, learns so many things and loves his teachers. in fact even during the weekend he ask us to go. we as parents are really happy with them.

Our two children thrived during their time at this facility! We moved out of the area, or we’d still be attending. As a parent, it’s wonderful knowing that your kids are well taken care of and loved when you can’t be with them.

Our family was so happy to have our son with these providers. These providers are warm and attentive. They're invested in their clients--they want both children and family to be happy and satisfied. They taught my son basics like songs and abc's but they also taught him to be fascinated by the world around him: bugs, birds, plants. He learned how to watch and observe with these providers.

My son started in this facility around 15mos, he’s will be turning 3 in November. I must say, I’ve truly enjoyed my sons experience under the provider's care. We started here when my daughter was 18 months when our previous center closed. We loved this place from the moment we walked in and our daughter adores the teachers. They were very helpful as we transitioned and now she is pretty much shoving us out the door every day so she can play with her friends. They have a great outdoor area, lots of toys and lots of books, and I love that they cook with the kids as well. Highly, highly recommend.

This daycare has been a true blessing. We were desperately looking for a new daycare due to a bad experience with our prior one. It only took one meeting with the teachers and we were sold. This is a wonderful place. My kids felt at home, they were guarded safely, educated well and received whole notorious foods. My little ones became confident and genuine little people, that really know how to behave themselves with great mannerism. Our son Jackson started daycare when he was 6 months old, and he could not be happier. Everyday, Jackson is excited to get started in his routine with his teacher, to play and learn with his new friends and to enjoy the day. We are so grateful for the love and attention Jack receives at daycare. He is safe and loved and growing here. We recommend it to any family.

Looking for affordable AND high quality daycare in this area is a huge challenge, and I quickly learned that the hard way after I moved here from the Carolinas. Absolutely great daycare! Ms. H has my trust 100%. My daughter started at 6 months and left at 4, only to start head start in public school. Now I receive so many compliments of how advance she is compared to her peers. She is interested in learning new concepts and even now references back to Miss H. remembering even the little things she taught her.
