Heritage Campus Children's Academy is a family-owned and operated child care center with leadership experience that spans generations in early childhood education. Our founder brings more than 30 years of experience in child care, and Heritage Campus Children's Academy is proudly one of four centers serving families across Virginia.

The owner of this Annandale location holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and has more than 13 years of experience in child care and early childhood education. Together, their experience reflects our continued commitment to providing exceptional care and learning opportunities for every child.

Our professional educators and caregivers are dedicated to creating a nurturing, educational, and joyful environment where children are excited to learn and grow each day. We believe strong partnerships with families are essential and encourage open communication so our teachers can meet the unique needs of every child at every stage of development.

Our caregivers and lead teachers are highly qualified, experienced, and certified in CPR and First Aid, giving families confidence that their children are in safe, caring hands throughout the day. Several staff members are also M.A.T. (Medication Administration Training) certified and qualified to administer medication when needed. We look forward to partnering with your family and becoming a trusted part of your child's early learning journey.

Program:

Heritage Campus Children's Academy is open year-round, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We offer full-time and part-time child care for infants as young as 8 weeks old, toddlers, and preschoolers up to 5 years of age. We also offer a fun and engaging summer camp program designed to create lasting memories throughout the summer.

We are proud to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment where every child is valued, respected, and supported. Our program is best equipped to accommodate children with mild developmental needs, such as speech or language delays. We work closely with families to ensure each child receives the individualized care, encouragement, and support they deserve.

All children attending Heritage Campus Children's Academy receive meals throughout the day at no extra cost. We also maintain a peanut- and tree-nut-free environment for the safety of children with potential allergies.

Curriculum:

At Heritage Campus Children's Academy, we use the Mother Goose Time Curriculum and follow a play-based teaching philosophy that encourages children to learn through exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences. Our teachers are actively engaged in the learning process and encourage children to take part in a variety of educational and enjoyable activities.

Activities include baking, ceramics and pottery, play and gym, music, arts and crafts, drama and musical theater, math, and language development. This variety gives children opportunities to explore their interests, express their creativity, develop new skills, and learn through play.
