Heritage Campus Children's Academy is a beautiful child care center and preschool in Annandale, VA! The daycare focuses on providing nurturing care as well a top-notch educational experience for children.
The Staff:
The owner of this daycare center holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and has 13 years of experience in child care and early childhood education. Caregivers and lead teachers are highly-qualified, trained and experienced: they are all CPR & First-aid certified, leaving you at peace that your little precious is in good hands and safe at all times. There are also various staff members who are M.A.T trained, and thus can administer medication to all children in care if needed.
The staff is made up of professional educators and caregivers who are dedicated to providing a nurturing, educational, and happy environment so that children are always excited to go to the center! Parents are also encouraged to cooperate and keep lines of communication open, as teachers strive to meet the needs of your children at every age and developmental stage.
Program & Curriculum:
Our child care center is open year round from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Full-time and part-time care is offered for infants as young as 8 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. The center is also open in the summer and runs a fun summer camp program! To avoid any possible allergies, the facility is peanut and tree-nut. Lunch is served to all children enrolled in our program (already included in the tuition!)
The center uses the Mother Goose Time Curriculum and follows the Play-based teaching philosophy. Teachers are very hands-on and students are always encouraged to participate in educational, yet fun activities such as Baking, Ceramics/Pottery, Play & Gym, Music, Arts & Crafts, Drama/Musical Theater, Math and Language.

We absolutely LOVE this daycare! The teachers are so caring and attentive to our baby girl. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly (even loving!), and their programs are fun. As a first time mom, I was very nervous about leaving my daughter at only 3 months in daycare. From day one, the teachers and staff made us feel like family. We are so pleased with our choice!

This daycare is a fantastic place and we couldn’t be happier with it. Our girls are happy to go every day and come home happy and tired. They have shown new interests and abilities that surprise me every day. The teachers know all the kids, not just their own class, and love all the kids. we are so happy with our choice to take our girls to this daycare!

I couldn’t be happier having my child at this daycare! The teachers and management staff care so much and are so positive and friendly, and are a bright light in our day. My daughter is learning and growing so much, she has come out of her shell and runs into the classroom every morning excited to see her teachers and friends. I can't say enough great things about this daycare center. I cried on our daughter's last day of care because the teachers and staff were so outstanding. As a first time mom, it was very hard to take her to daycare at 3 months and this place made me feel so much better about it. We are so happy with this daycare, from the kind and helpful staff to the great facilities! They host various events for families and their curriculum is theme-based. We love that meals will be provided once our baby is old enough and that the center includes preschool. It is the perfect place for our baby to continue her journey until elementary school.

We could not be happier with the experiences we’ve had sending both of our kids to this daycare. The staff care about our kids as if they were their own. We feel at ease knowing they are in a safe and loving environment, with stimulating, age-appropriate activities. What a phenomenal child care center. They are responsive, committed to development and overall really really great people. My 2 daughters attended from 6 weeks until we had to leave. We debated traveling there from MD everyday because they are amazing but it wasn’t possible. We were sad to leave but keep in touch!

I honestly can’t say enough glowing things about this daycare. I was so nervous to send my son to daycare, but the folks at this daycare have put all my concerns to rest. They are loving, attentive, and truly care about him, which is exactly what a parent wants in a daycare. I get pictures and updates daily and know that my son loves his teachers, friends, and fun daily activities. I feel so lucky that we found this daycare!!!!

It was a blessing to find this facility. The provider has always been friendly and reassuring to me about leaving my son at a daycare I can trust. My son’s primary teacher was wonderful. She is great with children and she just put me at ease. Within two to three months, I noticed my son’s vocabulary improved drastically. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone who needs a place they can trust with their kids.

We have loved our time with this provider! The teachers and staff are all always warm and welcoming and accommodating with my husband and my weird schedules, and my child always comes home happy. My son has been going to this daycare since my maternity leave ended. Hes now 9 months and we love them. We loved their 1st facility and we love their new facility. He is happy to see his teachers everyday. Teachers are friendly and take the time to learn the name of all kids whether they are in their class or not. We love this place and do not plan on leaving them until he graduates from there.
