Program

We are open year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. We offer flexible care options, including full-time, part-time, and drop-in care for children ranging from infants as young as 6 weeks to toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old.

Daily tuition includes healthy, balanced meals, all prepared in a peanut-free and tree-nut-free environment to ensure your child’s safety and well-being. We are proud to offer a safe and stimulating environment, including fenced outdoor facilities, a dedicated playground, and an indoor gym space for active play—rain or shine!

About Me:

Hello, Parents! I’m the owner and primary caregiver at Ravensworth Little Cottage, and I bring over 7 years of experience in early childhood education. I’ve worked as both a child care assistant and lead teacher, and I hold an Associate’s Degree in Tourism and Management. I’m also CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring a safe environment for your little ones.

Opening my own daycare was a natural step driven by my deep passion for working with children and supporting families during such an important stage of life. Here, I’m able to provide personalized care, build strong relationships, and create a loving, structured space that helps children thrive. My goal is to nurture each child’s unique potential and provide a warm, consistent, and joyful environment where they can grow, explore, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

At Ravensworth Little Cottage, we believe that every day is an opportunity for growth, learning, and connection. We take joy in helping children develop new skills and celebrate each milestone, whether it’s learning new words, sharing with a friend, or gaining independence.

We also value the importance of strong partnerships with families. Through open and consistent communication, we work closely with parents to support not just the child, but the whole family. Together, we create a caring, collaborative space where children feel safe and loved—and where families feel seen and supported.

Curriculum:

Our program offers a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that fosters confidence, curiosity, and development. With small group sizes, we provide individualized attention and meaningful daily routines. Activities are thoughtfully designed to support age-appropriate learning in language, math, creativity, motor skills, and social-emotional development.

In addition to English, I am fluent in Arabic and French, and can offer early language exposure upon request—helping spark a love for multilingual learning. Our clean, peaceful space encourages exploration and growth, while our well-organized routines help children feel secure and ready to learn.

Daily Activities:

From infants to preschoolers, every child at Ravensworth Little Cottage is supported with age-appropriate activities in a safe and loving setting. Infants receive personalized care that focuses on bonding, sensory exploration, and foundational motor development. Toddlers enjoy guided play that nurtures communication, motor skills, early literacy, and social confidence.

Our preschool program helps prepare children for kindergarten through hands-on learning that builds early numeracy, language skills, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence. Every child is supported, celebrated, and encouraged to explore the world with confidence.
