
Fitness Fun & Games is a non-profit organization established to provide quality programs for children, ages 2 to 18, which support healthy growth of the individual including cognitive, physical, social and emotional development, during out-of-school hours.
ACTIVITIES
Activities for students include a wide variety to enrich the student's total development. Integrated, throughout the programs, is an emphasis on learning respect for self and others, the value of good manners, conflict resolution, character, teamwork, effective communication skills, healthy habits, and responsibility. Throughout the year at different locations, programs have included:
STAFF
All staff meet the requirements for child care providers, which includes a medical exam, a criminal background check, specific academic courses, and annual continued training. Ninety five percent of the staff has current First Aid and CPR certification. All leaders meet or exceed the training and experience requirements for the Office of Child Care under MSDE.
Meg McFadden, Executive Director, has an M.A. in Educational Supervision and Management, an M.A. in Psychology, and 35 years experience in various childcare, youth development and human services settings.
