Welcome, dear parents, to Collingbrook Estates Children's Corner, our licensed daycare and preschool in Bowie, MD. Nestled in the heart of the Collingbrook Estates community, we're near Church Rd and John Hanson Hwy (route 50). For parents commuting to work, we're conveniently located just a few minutes from Collington Rd and Crain Hwy (route 301).

Our home-based child care program caters to infants as young as 6 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. We offer full-time and part-time care, as well as before & after school care for school-age children up to 12 years old. We even have a fun summer camp when schools are closed. We open our doors from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday (if you require a slightly later pick-up like 6pm, please inquire). We also have a Date Night option where we can offer evening care for a few hours so parents can go on a date!

We believe in a holistic approach to early childhood education and use elements of the Waldorf teaching philosophy. Our daily schedule is carefully crafted, incorporating indoor and outdoor activities, reading and writing sessions, and, of course, ample fun time. Whether it's learning new words or enjoying the great outdoors, our activities are designed to stimulate your child’s curiosity, enhance their learning, and encourage them to express their creativity. In addition to English, I also speak Urdu and Punjabi and upon parents' request, I could introduce your child to these foreign languages.

I am the proud owner and caregiver of this child care facility, and I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. My philosophy is simple: to create a warm, inviting atmosphere where children feel valued and supported. I am dedicated to fostering a love for learning and creativity, with a caring and nurturing approach to help every child blossom. My journey began in high school, tutoring children, which ignited my passion for early education. My previous experience in healthcare, especially in the emergency department dealing with infants and children, have helped me develop deep knowledge of child safety and well-being. I am also trained in C.P.R, First Aid, and M.A.T, ensuring a safe environment where your child’s health and happiness are paramount.

Collingbrook Estates Children's Corne is operated in a large, welcoming single-family house. We dedicate an entire level to our child care facility, ensuring ample space for exploration and growth. The wide open space allows children to play, and features a cozy library area, a multipurpose room, and a separate nap room. Our backyard and outdoor playground are perfect for fun physical activity.
