Saddle Creek Children's Den is a licensed in-home daycare and preschool in Burtonsville, MD. My child care facility is located in the Saddle Creek neighborhood, near McKnew Local Park, McKnew Rd and Cedar Tree Dr. Your daily commute to work will be hassle-free since I have easy access to Sandy Spring Rd (route 198), Columbia Pike (US-29), Maryland State Route 200, and the I-95.

I'm the owner and main caregiver of this charming family child care and preschool program. Like you, I’m also a parent, a mother to 3 children (my eldest is a 20 year-old who’s in the military, my second is 19 years old, and the youngest is 10 years old). I can certainly relate to your child care needs and concerns. I create a safe and happy environment where they can feel loved! I’ve been in the early childhood education field for 11 years. I was a substitute teacher for 5 years for another licensed daycare and a caregiver at a church daycare for 6 years. I’m very passionate about child care and really enjoy working with kids. I want to nurture them and help them develop valuable skills at an early age. Your little one will be in good hands at all times because I’m CPR, First-aid & M.A.T. certified.

Saddle Creek Children's Den is open all throughout the year from Monday through Friday between 7:00 and 6:00 pm. I follow the Play-based learning approach to make learning more fun and exciting. In addition to English, I can also teach your child Amharic upon request (note that my daycare is not a bilingual program, but this is still a wonderful opportunity for your child to be exposed to another language and culture, if you wish). I provide full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 3 months, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 6 years old. I serve morning and afternoon snacks to all kids attending my program (both included in the tuition). I also maintain a peanut and tree-nut free environment to avoid possible allergies.
