Welcome to Clark Meadows Kiddie Cove, a licensed in-home daycare and preschool located in the heart of the Clark Meadows neighborhood in Clarksburg, MD. We’re conveniently situated near Fredrick Rd (MD-355), just off Foreman Blvd and Shawnee Ln, making your daily commute stress-free. Our daycare is only minutes away from Clarksburg Village Community Park and Clarksburg Greenway Trail. We offer year-round child care, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Our program provides full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 2 months to toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. I’m the owner and primary caregiver at Clark Meadows Kiddie Cove. I have over 17 years of experience in child care, a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, and certifications in CPR, First Aid, and M.A.T. I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and loving environment where children can thrive! As both a parent and an early childhood educator, I started my home-based daycare because I wanted to go beyond basic daycare: I wanted to create a space where children can learn, grow, and feel at home! Every day, I’m inspired by the curiosity, energy, and unique personalities of the children in my care. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch them reach milestones, knowing I’ve played a part in their journey. Building trusting relationships with parents is just as fulfilling. I’m committed to working together with families to ensure their little ones are happy, safe, and supported. Caring for children isn’t just my job, it’s my calling. Helping children thrive and supporting families is a privilege I cherish!

Our program follows a play-based learning approach, where children can develop critical skills such as social interaction, motor coordination, cognitive growth, and vocabulary development. We also integrate activities that celebrate diversity and foster cultural awareness. Our daily activities include: Literacy & Arts: Storytime, music, and arts and crafts featuring cultural traditions, costumes, and visuals from around the world. Math: Shape recognition and sorting using toys, puzzles, and fun, hands-on materials. Physical Activity: Outdoor play with interactive games that encourage teamwork, focus, and motor skill development.
