Welcome to Braddock Woods Children's Place, our licensed in-home daycare and preschool in Clifton, VA! We're conveniently located in the Braddock Woods neighborhood, between Clifton and Fairfax, right off Braddock Rd. We're also just a few minutes away from all major roads, to make your commute to work easier: Fairfax County Pkwy (route 286), Lee Hwy (route 29), and the I-66.
Our Philosophy
We believe that high quality child care for infants and toddlers is having an attentive and responsive caregiver, who provides plenty of undivided attention. We also believe in the significance of early childhood development since this is the foundation for your children's future well-being and learning. Our family daycare program has been providing quality child care for over 16 years! As the owner and caregiver, I am Infant & Adult CPR certified, as well as Pediatric First-aid certified. I am dedicated to creating a safe, clean and nurturing environment where your children can learn and grow!
Our Curriculum
Braddock Woods Children's Place uses a play-based early learning teaching philosophy. We equip our home with educational toys and create a fun environment making learning enjoyable and more exciting. We also offer a fun yet nurturing activities such painting and coloring sessions, puzzles, story time, reading books and much more! Our family child care and preschool program also provides physical activities like music, dancing and outdoor activity time. In short our days are filled with fun educational activities! Time flies by fast when we're having fun :)
Our Program
Our daycare is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We provide full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 3 months, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. We serve lunch and snacks to the children in our care (included in the tuition and we run a peanut and tree-nut environment). Our daycare facilities offer all the essentials to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment: we have a fenced playground, an indoor multipurpose room for activities, a separate nap room for proper rest, computers to start learning technology and sensory tables.

So happy we found this daycare. The owner has been great with my baby from 3 months on. She is very experienced with children, patient, communicative, and loving, which is all you want with a caretaker! Her team are wonderful as well, they even braid all the girls’ hair. I hope we can continue sending our baby here for a while, she loves it!

We’ve been with this daycare for a full year now, and I truly couldn’t be more grateful for the love and care this provider has given my daughter, who is now 2 years old. Our toddler has been attending this daycare for over a year now. The children have a large, safe, and enriching space to play and learn. They have some great toys and activities for growing bodies and minds. The staff have a lot of experience with children, and have been very supportive as our toddler progresses through his development milestones. Our toddler feels loved and safe here.

Best in-home daycare in the area. My son has been there since he was 12 weeks old and I feel as if the providers are his bonus parents. He loves them so much and I’m so very thankful they love him back!

For our daughter, we could not be happier with this provider and her team. Our daughter is always very excited to go to her "teacher" every day and is always so happy when we pick her up and very excited to tell us all about her day. My daughter has been going to this provider since she was 2 months old. She is absolutely cared for and is always smiling when I pick her up. This provider is flexible and very kind. This provider is simply amazing. My son jumps out of my arms when he sees her in the morning when drop him off. He never wants to leave at the end of the end. My 20 month old daughter loves this daycare. She’s been going since about 9 months after a failed KinderCare experience. The space is clean and very large so the children have lots of room to play.
