Welcome to Green Meadow Playhouse, our licensed daycare and preschool in Columbia, MD. We're dedicated to providing a nurturing and safe environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our facility's hours of operation are from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, year round (including summer). Whether you require full-time or part-time care, or even the flexibility of drop-in child care services, our doors are open to accommodate your family's needs. We provide healthy snacks to keep your child energized throughout the day. Our daycare is a peanut and tree-nut-free environment to ensure the safety of all children in our care.

Our daycare and preschool program is owned and operated by a loving mom of three, with a decade of child care expertise. You can be assured that your child's well-being and development are in capable hands. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and in addition to English, she also speaks Amharic and can expose your child to this foreign language. This is a good opportunity to introduce your children to diverse languages to enhance their linguistic skills.

Our early childhood education curriculum combines play-based activities with academic elements to foster a love for learning. We believe that children learn best when they're having fun, and our approach supports their cognitive and social development.

Green Meadow Playhouse is nestled in the Hickory Ridge neighborhood of Columbia, MD. Our in-home daycare is conveniently located right off Little Patuxent Pkwy and is close to the Green Meadow Playground. You'll find your daily commute to work hassle-free as we offer easy access to Hickory Ridge Rd and Cedar Ln.
