Hello, parent! Welcome to Ridgefield Kids Playhouse, my home-based daycare in Woodbridge, VA!
About Me:
I am the owner and main caregiver of this family child care program and I have 20 years of experience in providing quality care and early education! I am also a mother of 2, so I understand the needs and concerns of parents. You can be assured that at my daycare, your little one will be in good hands! In addition to my 20 years of experience, I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and I am CPR & First-aid certified.
Program:
My daycare’s hours of operation are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. My curriculum helps children prepare for kindergarten. I engage them in educational activities, such as shapes, colors, numbers, coloring, etc.
I offer full-time daycare for infants as young as 3 weeks, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 5 years old, including children with special needs. I also offer before and after school care for older kids, up to 12 years old and transportation can be arranged (any nearby school within 3 miles).
Lunch and snacks are served to all children in my care (included in the tuition). To make sure kids are safe from any type of diseases caused by germs and viruses, I sanitize toys and we wash our hands regularly, especially after every activity.
Location:
Ridgefield Kids Playhouse is right off Ridgefield Rd and Dale Blvd (near Mapledale Plaza). Your commute to work would be very convenient since my home is just a few minutes’ drive from Hoadly Rd (route 642) and Prince William Pkwy (route 294).

We have been taking our son to this caregiver for over two years and we can tell how much she absolutely loves him. She has taken great care of him as an infant and now a toddler!

The owner and her staff are wonderful, warm, and kind caregivers. My 2 year old son has been with them for the past year and is always incredibly happy and comfortable at drop off and pick up. They are attentive to his needs always communicative with parents if there is a change in his health or behavior that we need to be made aware of. We’re so happy and grateful we have found them and to have them involved in our child’s care and growth.

This provider is so loving and kind! I can tell she truly cares about my son. My son can take a while to warm up to people he doesn't know well, but he warmed up to this provider right away. I did not have a good experience with this provider and un-enrolled my son after less than one month. This provider struggled to follow my son's schedule and routinely fed him up to an hour/hour and a half past his feed times. It was also unclear if she had a helper and/or who the helper was. This provider and staff are very kind and caring people. My son has been going to her since he was 3 months old. She made dropping him off with her easy for this first time momma! She will send photo and video updates of your babies if you want. She sends detailed notes of their day home with them. This provider and her staff are simply wonderful to my daughter! She is loving and very attentive to her. Facility is clean and organized. All the children under this provider's care seem to enjoy their time there. Every time I drop off my daughter she gets so happy to see this provider. My daughter has been going there since she was 12 months and she is 17 months now and absolutely loves it. They teach her a lot, the teachers are wonderful. Curriculum is good, she has been taught a lot and knows the other kids name.

Hello,
My kids love this daycare and the owner. She has been a miracle to our family, both kids have been going here for over a year and I couldn't be happier.
I pulled my son out of Minnieland academy to take him to this daycare and his learning and speech has improved tremendously for a 3 year old.

I love this provider...she is so wonderful with the kids. She's been caring for my babies since they were infants. She always provides and safe and caring environment. My kids beg to go to her house. She truly treats and cares for all the children like they were her own, and that's what makes her the best!!!
