Busy Bees Family Child Care, Dayton

There are many characteristics of this child care home that make it a special place for children to learn and grow. We have a small class size, only six children. The children receive a personalized preschool learning program that is designed to support and build on their individual strengths and goals. Our High Scope curriculum follows a structured, age-appropriate daily schedule that balances free exploration, group activities, and teacher-led lessons in a learn-through-play approach. We focus on building social skills, which is the foundation for future school success in every child. Highlights of our facility include a large indoor classroom with learning centers such as computers, dramatic play, manipulatives, reading, math, science, art, and writing. The children enjoy a large, shaded, fenced playground. The health and safety of the children are always our first priority. Special attention is given to providing nutritious, home-style meals in a friendly family atmosphere.
