Building Blocks of Hope Learning Center is a year-round home-based daycare in Duncanville, TX. Our family childcare program is run by Dena Wood who has 4 years of childcare experience. We are open from 6:30 am until 6:30 pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 12 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full-time and part-time child care, including drop-in care. We also have summer camp, as well as before and after school care for children up to 12 years old. If you want your child to be cared for and treated as family, then send them here. Mrs. Dena has each child under her cares’ best interest at heart for sure. She teaches, guides and cares for them so they’re well rounded children going into the school system. my daughter is the top of her class because of the rigid curriculum Mrs. Dena implements through her program. We have been with Ms. Dena since my oldest was 6months old- so about 2.5 years now. We absolutely love her. We actually have moved out of the area and travel back just so both my kids now can attend her daycare. She’s taught them so much - letters, numbers, colors, potty training even! I don’t know what we’d do without her! We are so grateful for her.

Miss Dena's facility was the first and only child care facility I've ever used and to say I was satisfied with her performance is an understatement! She cares so much about these babies and I never had any concerns. Her facility is always clean!

If you're looking for a clean, safe, and productive facility that treats you like family, this is it. My children gained so much knowledge from Dena, before heading off to big school. They were ahead of the rest. Reading, writing, knowing sounds and colors. They would come home with something new each day. I was looking for a home environment where my children could lesrn and grow and I found it here.

Mrs.Dena is AMAZING!! She has a special gift with kids. She makes sure that every kid’s need are met and also listens to them. I never second guess if my son is taken care when he is with her. My son loves her!!
