Giggles and Smiles is a 4-star family childcare home located in North Durham established in 1990 specializing in the care of infants until 2 years old. We have monthly themes and learn through play. We use Funshine Online Curriculum and have activities that stimulate the five domains of childhood. Infants in care are kept busy with activity mats and lots of interaction. Young toddlers are introduced to many manipulatives, puzzles, stacking cups, counting bears. We also have outdoor time and walks in the neighborhood to explore the world around us.

Mrs. Tara is a pro with several decades of experience in caring for babies and toddlers. Her classroom is fun, safe, and she cares for the children like they are family. Tara pays attention to each child’s specific needs. She is communicative and helpful. Most importantly, my baby loves her!!

Ms. Tara has been an incredible caregiver for our first and third kiddo (the only reason she didn't keep the second was because she was full!), and has been a wonderful partner in helping raise our littles. She does a great job at communicating, is very kind and loving towards the kids, and is always open to our specific requests for our kids. I love that we truly feel like she is a partner in our childcare village. Highly recommend!
