Welcome to Foster Park Kiddie Cove, my nurturing family child care and preschool program in Evanston, IL. My home daycare is located right off Emerson St, near Foster Park and Dewey Elementary School. Your daily commute to work will be very convenient since I'm also near Green Bay Rd and McCormick Blvd.

About Me:
I’m the owner and a licensed child care provider with 37 years of experience and CPR & First-aid certifications. As a mom of 3 myself, I know how challenging and stressful it is to find reliable and trustworthy child care facility for your baby.
At my home-based daycare, you can be sure that your little one will be treated as if he/she were my own child. I simply love working with kids, and this is the reason why I opened my own daycare. I also maintain a good relationship with parents and do my best to accommodate their needs and concerns.
Program:
Foster Park Kiddie Cove offers a play-based early learning program with lots of fun, educational activities such as singing, dancing, reading, and writing. If you want your child to learn a foreign language in addition to English, I can teach him/her some Spanish words (however, please note that my daycare is not a bilingual program). Children also spend time outdoors playing in my fenced backyard with equipment like slides and little scooters.
I’m open all year-round from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I offer full-time and part-time care, as well as drop-in care for children between the age of 8 weeks and 12 years old. All kids attending my program are provided with lunch and snacks, which are both included in the tuition.

We love, love, love this caregiver! We looked at a number of daycares in the area before deciding on her. Given our son was too young (3 months old) for a "curriculum" we decided the most important quality in a daycare was one that was loving, nurturing and supportive. Finding this home daycare was truly a blessing! The owner is warm, kind, and very accommodating. My 17 mo old son runs to her with arms extended at drop off and sometimes doesn’t want to leave when I go to pick him up! The place is clean and full of toys and activities. There’s a big back yard and two parks within a short walking distance. I feel very lucky to have found this place!!

Our son has been with this daycare for the past 5 months and loves it! He has a big smile on his face when we drop him off and wants to keep playing when we come to pick him up. The caregiver has been helpful with providing guidance and support with bottle weaning and introducing solids. We are so thankful to have found her!

This caregiver assisted my family with child care for our 5 year old last summer. We were transitioning from school to summer day camp and had a couple of weeks in between where we needed a flexible option for child care while we were at work.
We loved her from the first day. She was very flexible, easy going and always and kept our son busy with activities throughout the day.
We would use her daycare again in a heartbeat.

This has been our trusted daycare since we moved to Evanston in summer 2019. She is endlessly caring about the kids in her charge, and she remembers them all even after they've grow up. We love brining our older child back when we pick up our baby. Our son recently ran up to her, gave her a big hug, and said "Happy Mother's Day!"

This provider is so nurturing, calm, and loving. My daughter (21 mo) has been going to this daycare since she was 5 months old (with a pandemic hiatus). In the beginning, she filled out a daily sheet for me indicating how much breast milk my daughter had consumed, how long she'd slept, and how many/kind of diapers changed. This daycare has been a blessing to my life. My twin girls attended this facility from age 2-6. The provider is a loving person and super dependable! There was never a moment that I worried about the safety of my children when they were in her care. From homemade lunches to walks in the park, this day care is 100% what I was looking for.

This provider became like family to us. She absolutely loves and is devoted to the children in her program, and our daughter loved her and her time there as a result. This provider takes more of a Montessori approach—letting the children explore and play, which was great for my young daughter’s curiosity and creativity. We treasure the time our daughter spent with this provider and her friends there.

My daughter was at this facility from the time she was about 9 months old until she was 4. This provider is great with the kids. She shows great patience, feeds them well, helps them learn their letters and teaches them good manners/etiquette. She was flexible with me, allowing me a little extra time in the evening when I had to work a little longer. She definitely made juggling motherhood and a full time job much easier.

This daycare was an absolute blessing, and our son was very happy and well cared for. For us as new parents, it was incredibly comforting to know that he was well taken care of while we were at work. He potty trained early with his daycare friends, and he even at vegetables sometimes, which he never does at home! Even now that he's heading to kindergarten, he still talks about and asks to go see the provider sometimes. She is wonderful.
