Fairfax Ridge Kids Playhouse is a nurturing child care and preschool program in Fairfax, VA! The owner and main caregiver of this home daycare is a mom of 2 with 3 years of experience in child care and early childhood education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and is CPR and First-aid certified.
The daycare offers a small, cozy and intimate child care and preschool program (the provider will only care for a maximum of 4 children). Therefore, you can be sure that your little one will receive plenty of individual attention!
Program:
This home-based daycare and preschool is open year-round from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. They offer various options to accommodate working parents such as: full-time care and part-time daycare for infants as young as 2 months, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 5 years old.
Before and after-school care are both available for school-age kids, up to 7 years old (the child care facility is right next to Eagle View Elementary School, and also near Colin L. Powell Elementary School, and Willow Springs Elementary School). The facility is peanut and tree-nut free, and snacks are served to all children in care.
The owner of Fairfax Ridge Kids Playhouse follows a play-based teaching philosophy, and her program offers fun extra-curricular activities such as Dance, Music, and Singing! Children will also enjoy plenty of outdoor playtime since the daycare is just across from the community park and playground.

Fairfax Ridge Kids Playhouse is conveniently located in Fairfax VA, in the Fairfax Ridge community (in Legato, near The Home Depot and Fairfax County Government Center). Your daily commute to work will be easy since the daycare is right off Lee Hwy (route 29) with easy access to Fairfax County Pkwy (route 286), Fairfax Blvd (route 50) and the I-66.

We are so blessed to have found this caregiver. She is beyond just a great caregiver; she is trustworthy, kind and loving. You can see and feel the genuine love she has for all the kids. This provider is very qualified and understands the development stages of infants and toddlers. She has watched our son since he was only a few months old and he is now over three. He has learned colors, shapes, the alphabet and counting at an impressively young age and he has never once expressed not wanting to go to "the provider's house."

We love it here! I was very nervous sending my son to daycare during the pandemic but this provider has been amazing! Even during our interview my son went right to her and just absolutely loved it there ! She keeps things very clean and safe for the kids as well as helps them learn and grow ! Couldn’t be happier with a daycare!

This provider has been our son’s caretaker since he was 4 months old and he has bonded with her and the other children. He is always excited to go and sometimes doesn’t want to leave daycare! This provider has been phenomenal and we are so happy to have found her.

Our daughter has been attending daycare at this provider since she was 4 months old. The day we did our tour of the facility, we immediately felt at ease seeing her interact with our daughter and making her smile. Her warmth and care for kids is apparent right away. This provider operates on a schedule that helped get our baby girl on track with naps and feedings. She’s been the perfect fit for us.

I am a first time mother so I can say that I was scared about the prospect of putting my 8 month old (at the time) in a daycare. Fast forward, she's 2 years old and I couldn't be happier. Her social skills and language are flourishing! My Little one loves coming to "school" everyday and my heart is at peace knowing she's safe and happy!

I am a mom of two as well, I witness how the owner of the daycare is very kind and gentle to the kids. Very friendly to every one. I highly recommend this place even though she is new in this field but, I believe that she would do good job because she is normally among the children of her own and other as well.
